If they have jobs in the public sector, they are assumed to be libs, and thus, acceptable. From my POV, public sector workers are overhead & it's a sound business principle to keep overhead as low as possible. To the left, that makes me heartless.
Here in Massachusetts the governor--a friend O'bama's--just announced that there will be cutbacks and a hiring freeze. I have a feeling that if Obama gets in we'll have a miraculous infusion of cash to the state coffers, and these "good, hard-working Americans" won't be thrown off the public payroll.
Of course, I expect the same thing to happen if Obama DOESN'T get in, and a tax raise to follow.
