Is ACORN the nuts that Rev. Jesse Jackson was talking about when he said he’d like to cut them out of Obama?

No one thing will bring the messiah down.
It will be a death of 1000 cuts.

He has so many bad things about him.

You would think ACORN would be the last straw.. We shall see. I think the polls are wrong anyway. It’s a tie when you take out liberal corruption and spin.

Maybe, but everyone’s focus is on the economy right now. McCain has to show that he is reliable there.

Is this a case of the tree falling not far from the fruit?

I've stated this many times, but I'd like to have a name recognition poll done with Ayers, ACORN, and some of the other nefarious people and orgs. in Obama's past. Howard Stern sent someone up to Harlem, and many people there did not know who Sarah Palin was. The people like Morris who think Americans do not like ACORN or Ayers brought up make the mistake of assuming most Americans are aware of their presence. They're giving average Americas more credit than they deserve. Most Americans are far more likely to know what Brett Favre did last weekend or how their favorite dancer did on American Idol than who Ayers and ACORN are.

McCain has to run a dual message campaign. He can't just campaign negatively, but he must do a certain share of it. Attacking Obama where's he vulnerable can't hurt.

Obama sure downplayed Ayers and ACORN at the debate tonight. Can some 527’s make use of that?
