I like your post. Very upbeat.

I’m not sure that I have as much faith as you seem to have, but your post is refreshing just the same.

Yup...it's pretty lonely out here for conservatives.
That's why I hang out here.

In the Peoples Republic of Illinois, I haven’t seen one Obama sign in Democrat area. The only one I have seen is in the Republican town of Naperville. Some kinda special moron. I’ve seen more McCain signs than Obama. I know there are far more Obama supporters than McCain here, but apparently they are ashamed to put out a sign to show their support. Normally there are lawn signs all over. Got to wonder how strong that support is...

Driving around South West Ohio (Dayton, Cincinnati, Springfield) McCain signs far outnumber Obama signs (100 to 1 maybe). Last time it was pretty much 50-50 Kerry vs. Bush signs. Whether it translates into votes, we'll have to see.

Most Obamites are fanatical nutty worshipers--They would put signs out --sounds like great news

I drove three hundred miles yesterday across the mountain from East Tennessee into North Carolina, through Asheville and down the mountain to Spartenburg SC. Along the whole 5 hours of driving, I saw two..... that is 2 obama bumper stickers and 0, none nada obama signs. This in the 30 miles back and forth through the liberal enclave of artists and potters that is Asheville.

They might be for him, but there seems to be a lack of passion

Well, McCain needs Florida so that is great.

The local Dems are closely tied to the local Catholic Church. Maybe they don’t want to show their support for a pro-abortionist.

"supporters"

You're right, his supporters do not care. But McCain is after the squishy undecideds (fifteen to twenty percent) who will determine the winner of this election. Before the recent economic panic, McCain and Palin were ahead in the polls. Then after the panic hit, they dropped behind. Many indys switched from McCain to Obama because of the economic troubles. To win the undecideds back McCain must do two things: lay the blame (justifiably) on the Dems for the crash, and clearly outline his economic vision.

"Peoples Republic"

I have a nutty, lib sister who lives in Wheaton, and she complains that all her neighbors and co-workers are Republicans. I guess the Chicago area fits the profile of many large American cities. Blue on the inside and red on the outside.

Does any of this look familiar?

Odinga Website

ACORN is the least of 0bama's dirty dealings. This story is getting legs. The similarity between Odings's campaign and 0bama's it too compelling to ignore.

I might add that Dick Morris was a consultant to Odinga.

Odinga is the Most Powerful Argument Against Obama, Period!

"look familiar"

You know the astonishing thing about Obama is that there isn't just one scandalous or criminal thing in his past, there's more garbage than half of Congress has. Politicians have been brought down by far less than what Obama's done and been associated with, and many times with just one particular scandal. These scandals and bad acts of judgment on Obama's part keep cropping up, and the media keeps trying to throw them all down a deep pit. They eventually ooze to the surface and leave a nauseating stench, but the question is will this stench stick to Obama.
