McCain: I would rather "lose" the election than..........
SteveK1 | 10-15-08 | SteveK1

I heard on our local Tampa radio station this morning 970 Radio:

According to a political analyst, McCain would rather "lose" the election than conduct a dishonorable campaign.

If this is true, than many of us regret sending a contribution to McCain.

This reminds me of a boxer fighting in the last round needing a KNOCKOUT to win the fight. Instead he jabs and dances.

It's better to go down in flames with honor, according to McCain.

I gave you the response you warranted. Every election season, we get you trolls in here going around acting rude, calling people names and making stupid assumptions to support your agendas.

There is nothing rational or polite in your approach, therefore, you get the responses you deserve.

Democrats will never understand the concept of personal responsibility.

You're the name caller not I. And that troll BS doesn't intimidate me. I don’t care how long you've been here. I'm no troll and any decent and fair person person would see that. If you can refute what I say do it. I'm not obliged to be polite to someone who can do nothing more than call names. But I will not sink to your level of personal attack.

What a coincidence, I'd rather "lose" the election than cast a dishonorable vote...for McCain.

"There is nothing rational or polite in your approach, therefore, you get the responses you deserve"

But your name calling and personal attack on me is both rational and polite? You have a peculiar way of reasoning. If you can point out exactly what I posted that violated any rules of this forum do it. But given your response, I can't accept your definition of either polite or rational. Because your response is neither. If you disagree with what I say, fine. But calling someone a troll just because you don't like what they say is simply an attempt to silence someone. To me, that's not a conservative virtue. If you try to silence anyone who dares to make anything but a glowing assessment of the current situation, how are you different from Obam's people who try to silence what they don't want to hear?

A. You do not give me orders.

B. Stop your media tactics. I didn't say you violated any rules of this forum, I said you are rude. And you continue to reinforce that impression.

I can't accept your definition of either polite or rational. Because your response is neither.

Of course it's not. When some newbie comes at me all rude and huffy without my previously having said anything to him or her at all, that's what you're going to get. You think you can act snotty, arrogant and rude to someone and they should jut take it. You whine and cry when you get a little of your own back. It's so typical of newbies who come on here to disrupt.

I suggest you develop some manners and learn to treat people with a little respect if you don't want to be suspected as a troll. We get a lot of them here during election cycles and you are fitting the personality to a tee.

When a newbie addresses a FReeper for the first time, he or she should not come across as some disdainful, internet tough-guy wannabe. Nobody here is impressed by that tired old behavior and it just turns us off.

Now, until you have learned some manners, I'm done with you. I don't associate with people who exhibit boorish behavior.

I don't care how long you have been pounding keys. You are the one who is rude. You inserted yourself into a post not even directed to you. You seem to believe I must address you in a certain way because you believe you are some kind of elite. Your ranting post speaks for itself. You still can't refute what I said in my original post. You are rude and incapable of refuting anything. All you can do is rant. I wasn't rude. And if you think I was, you don't know what rude is. Read your post and learn what rude is.

I have no respect for you and your condescension. And I sincerely hope that you do not represent those conservatives who founded FR.

Call me names. Try to silence me. Try to claim you have some superiority even though you are rude and make personal attacks. Please do not waste my time by posting to me unless and until you can point out where I was wrong, or rude, or where I violated some unwritten rule that I must accept abuse from you because you signed up prior to me.

I hope Jim Robinson did not set up this enterprise to promote this type of thing. I don't think he did.

The attacks on newbies lately has crossed the line of paranoid. and it's high time antients, such as you are called on it.

Without newbies this site will simply morph to n inbred choir of aging cheerleaders.

I told you I don't wish to associate with you any more. I didn't bother reading past the first sentence of what I am sure is yet another drama-infested diatribe.

Perhaps, due to apparent poor comprehension skills, I must repeat myself: Go bark your moonbattery at someone else. I don't have time for it.

In fact, keep barking at JimRob. I'll make some popcorn and watch. I'm sure he has better things to do than listen to poorly done drama.

Run along, now. Really. Don't go away mad.

Just go away. :)
