If the DOJ is successful with their investigation, do we all get 4% reinbursed from ACORN?

>>>Yes and McCain asked point blank about voting for the bill avoided the question. When McCain was ask why he voted to give ACORN money he avoided the question.
That makes their Press Release even more interesting.

Our primary process is flawed.
The system is rigged. No question about it.
How did a candidate that the majority DID NOT WANT get on the ticket?

Nothing unclear about it, Senator McCain was joking with Glenn, who had asked him is he was going after the ‘mouse’ vote (ACORN registered Minnie Mouse) and McCain said, no, I prefer Goofy, another Disney character. :-)

Political stupidity is a handicap. Our Republican politicians may be usually right on the issues, but to say they're dumb as rocks when they try to actually accomplish anything would be an insult to rocks everywhere. Even the really dumb rocks.
To: Jack Black
I’d still vote for Duncan Hunter but I would hope that more would vote against John McCain. Other than Rootie, virtually all the candidates were far less flawed.

Because McCain voted for the Bailout bill that give the 4% on every home purchase. McCain should have voted NO.

In the do-over, among the ones who ran this year, who would you pick over McCain?Duncan Hunter! At least that way we wouldn't have to choose between two liberals.

Our primary process is flawed.
A series of nationwide (same day) runoffs would be complicated but better.

ROFL. And yet we continue to nominate them. We nominate people who are not stupid, but they are inarticulate. George Bush's biggest failures have little to do with his policies, most of which are exactly right on. His biggest failure is his incompetence behind the bully pulpit.

I know it was a joke. (Some people can tell them, some can’t.) But that “sentence” is only one example from the transcript where it really appears that the Senator was having trouble keeping on point and his syntax shows it.
Either that or the transcriber was trying to make him look “erratic”. (Now where have I heard that word before?)

I thought it was a flat fee to ACORN of $420 written into all mortgage constracts, due to legislation passed in the summer.GB had stated that it was $424 on a $100k mortgage. No idea if it is flat fee or pro-rated @ 0.424%

Is Glenn talking about the first bailout bill that didnt pass the house, but would have passed the Senate and the President sign it? No. The final one will give $424 on a $100k mortgage directly to community organizations like ACORN.
