Obama Born in Kenya? His Grandmother says, "Yes!"

Someone is lying. According to Obama's Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as the Democratic candidate for president claims. His grandmother bragged that her grandson is about to be President of the United States and is so proud because she was present DURING HIS BIRTH IN KENYA, in the delivery room. -This, according to several news sites and Pennsylvania attorney Philip J. Berg (see video below) who is, surprisingly, a life long democrat himself. Berg is the former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania, and he has an impressive background in his activities as a democrat, but his support for the party seemingly stops when it comes to his trust in Barack Hussein Obama.

Many U.S. voters are suspicious of the Democratic candidate's past, and Berg filed a lawsuit to force Barack Hussein Obama to produce a certified copy of his original birth certificate to prove that he can run for the office of President of the United States. However, he is being fought. The DNC On Sept. 24 filed a motion to dismiss the Berg action. Why? What is there to hide? Why not produce the original birth certificate and be done with all the suspicions against Barack Hussein Obama?

A few months back, a birth certificate WAS posted on the internet which shows that Obama was born in Hawaii. Yet some say this birth certificate is a forgery and again, his grandmother states that she was present at the birth, in Kenya. So what is the truth?

One explanation is that Obama's mother Ann Dunham, flew to Kenya in 1961 with Obama's father to meet his family. According to some news reports, Ann Dunham, was not accepted well by her husband's family because she's white.

The skeptical part of me says that the papers will show Obama was "born" in Hawaii. Everyone fighting this issue are being set up (or so goes the theory).

I keep seeing this written -- if indeed there is some valid certificate, even if it is Hawaiian, that is NOT the thing he posted to his site, it would not demonstrate we were inventing something and got set up, but rather, would show 0bama has been LYING for months, if not years.

You obviously don't remember the firestorm that was created when a Bush-1 State Dept. Employee went rummaging through files looking for details of William Jefferson Clinton's overseas travel to Communist Bloc Nations. If ANYBODY, even the Secretary of State herself, were to question the Messiah on this things would explode.

I'm referring to the Secretary of State at the state level ... the person usually responsible for running elections. The idea would be that the candidate had applied to put his name on the ballot in that state, and the Secretary of State has the responsibility to investigate concerns about eligibility.

My husband was born in Nairobi, Kenya to American citizen parents who were missionaries. His parents registered his birth with the American embassy in Kenya. My husband moved to the U.S. at the age of 16 to finish high school and attend college. At the age of 18, he applied for an FCC license for radio work, and was told he was not a U.S. citizen and, therefore, ineligible.

He was forced to go through the naturalization process to become a citizen. His parents being citizens did not matter, in this case.

Thanks for your post, especially the part about your husband's parents registering his birth at the American embassy in Kenya. I understand why all these folks are trying to tell us to ignore this, quit wasting space, "defeat him on the issues", that this is just a technicality, but it is more than that. It goes to the root of the Rule of Law and I don't care how many people riot and shout racism, if in fact this man has been lying and is not Constitutionally-eligible to stand for office, then he must not be allowed to hold the office, period, end of sentence.

Obama is probably a citizen even if he was born in Kenya. What is not clear is whether he is a natural born citizen and therefore eligible for the presidency. I have been pooh-poohing this notion as a waste of time, but after spending several hours digging into case law, maybe there is something to it after all.

I thought it was a waste, too, when it came up several months ago, but I’ve decided that there might be something to it, too. For one, the campaign won’t release the documents needed to put this issue to bed once and for all. I find that troubling.

Apparently three people (including Berg) have copies of Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate. Also Berg claims that someone did an exhaustive search of Hawaiian birth records and couldn’t find Obama. If these things are true then there is a valid question whether or not he’s a “natural born” citizen.

And even if Obama were born in Kenya, he was born to a U.S. citizen. Which means that he acquired U.S. citizenship at birth himself, and is thus arguably qualified as a "natural born citizen." (Note the use of the word "arguably" -- no one has ever determined one way or another whether someone who is a U.S. citizen at birth but was born on foreign soil is a "natural born citizen.") Plus, if he really were born in Kenya, and then was flown back to the U.S. by his mother, he would have needed a U.S. passport, which he only could have gotten if his mother had obtained a Consular Report of Birth Abroad from the U.S. embassy or consulate in Kenya. That would certainly be readily available to anyone seeking it.

The problem is that the public will not understand the argument, and millions of Obama supporters would never accept the judgement -- even if it came from the Supreme Court. Cities would burn. Therefore, I think nothing will come of this & Obama will have successfully finessed the "natural born citizen" Constitutional requirement.
