Now I know you’re not a Republican. Just like a liberal you make stuff up, without any basis in fact. She has never called him a terrorist sympathizer, baby killer or anything else you have claimed. If you mean that she has said he’s friends with a terrorist, than that’s the truth, if you mean that he’s for letting born babies die, than that’s the truth.

You can’t deal with the truth.

The polls are complete BS and everything negative about the Hussein campaign is turned to positives while McCain/Palin are the devils.

Yep, It’ a shame, but The Good LORD has said:

Isa 5:20
20 Woe unto them that call evil good , and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
KJV

Woe unto obama and his groupies; I choose to believe that God will have the last laugh!

I am an independent and I would NOT be voting for McCain if she was not on the ticket. I know lots of others who can say the same. She is getting LOTS of people excited about voting again. Finally, we’ve got a REAL choice.

Republican? I don’t think so.

No Republican could have his or her facts as wrong as you do.

“People who care enough to go through major inconvenience to show up 25,000 or 30,000 strong at a rally are indicative of a grassroots phenomenon unheard of in modern political history. Anybody think they won’t show up on Nov. 4? Think they won’t bring two or three others with them? Guess again”.

...passion. That’s what this rally was, passion. Just to let you know, the actual raceway was not used. It holds 110,000 people and the media would’ve had a field day with the empty seats. Palin’s people crammed us into an area that would hold maybe 20,000 not the 30,000 that showed. 85 degrees, sunny, long lines for the bathrooms and bottled water. I didn’t see or hear a single complaint. Just excitement for Palin’s arrival. She was late. Didn’t matter.

WSJ and Fox are now same as CBS and NBC?

That’s news to America.

I love this woman! Can’t wait to see her as President in 2016!

If she somehow survives the next four years intact, I'd MUCH rather see her as president in 2012.

Its OK. But be consistent.

Why talk about being Obama being terrorist sympathizer and then in last few days give up on it?

Why believe he doesn’t see America as you and I and then tell your supporters he is DESCENT FAMILY MAN WHO YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEAR BECOMING PRESIDENT?

Timing is the issue.

Why is she not talking about Jeremiah Wright TODAY?

Why not?

She WILL be talking about him NEXT week.

What does that tell you?

Simple philosophical disagreement or recognition of the fact that ALL ELSE has failed and fire the last bullet in the chamber?

You think Americans are so foolish they can not see POLITICAL CALCULATION here?

...maybe you’ll re-consider your “independant” stance. There isn’t one (1) democrat running for any office that isn’t a socialist/Marxist. There are plenty of RINO’s that you simply don’t vote for. (Zell Miller is retired and Joe Lieberman is a socialist. He just happens to be a socialist who doesn’t want his butt blown to kingdom come by terrorists)

In case you haven't noticed, Palin is doing the heavy lifting in this campaign.

John is telling the crowds that "Obama is a nice guy and a good citizen."

Oh, for goodness sake, of all the things on this thread to respond to this is what you pick. America, okay.

I’m sure I’m not the first to tell you that there’s nothing humble about you.

Mccain is a better choice than obama any day of the week.
At least Mccain is safe for our country. And if you can’t vote FOR Mccain At least vote AGAINST the Communistic liberal, barak obama.

Live by the poll, die by the poll... look at history, Google news archives are a good place to look. We are sitting about the same as we where in 04 and 2000
Not true. Bush led, except for a few outliers, from Sept 2004 until the election. The final Real Clear Politics poll average was 50.0 Bush to 48.5% Kerry. The actual popular vote was 50.7/48.3. That pretty darn accurate.

The issue here is what would happen to a Republican presidential candidate who had comparable associations to Obama’s. What would happen to a GOP candidate who:

**Launched his political career at the home of an unrepentant abortion clinic bomber, and later served on a committee with that bomber where they worked to seed “right-wing radicalism” into the public schools.

**Spent twenty years in the church of a white supremacist who hates America and consorts with anti-Semites.

**Was “mentored” in his youth by a far right radical who was under FBI surveillance and is a known sexual predator.

I would guess that such a candidate would have been run out of the race a long time ago by the media and by his Democrat opponent. There would, in fact, have been an unrelenting firestorm of attacks on such a Republican, a total feeding frenzy in the new media. Not only would a Republican candidate be forced out of the presidential race by such associations, but he'd have to resign his seat in the U.S. Senate. Recall that Trent Lott got demoted and was nearly run out of town for saying something nice to Strom Thurmond on his 100th birthday.

Now, the simple truth is, THERE IS NOTHING IN EITHER MCCAIN'S OR PALIN'S BACKGROUND REMOTELY COMPARABLE TO OBAMA'S ASSOCIATIONS WITH WRIGHT, AYERS, DAVIS, DOHRN, OLINGA, and others. Even so, the media have given us dozens of stories about the totally lame “Troopergate” non-scandal, the Todd Palin DUI, and other issues that pale when compared to Obama’s misconduct.

When you demand to know when Obama has launched an attack on McCain comparable to the quite mild McCain-Palin attack on Ayers, you're comparing apples & oranges because neither McCain nor Palin have ever associated with scum comparable to the vermin surrounding Obama. You seem to be suggesting that since Obama hasn't accused McCain of consorting with terrorists (which he can't, since McCain hasn't) that it's unfair for McCain to raise the actual examples of Obama consorting with such terrorists.

This is just another version of the heckler's veto, in which misconduct by one party is rewarded by an injunction against pointing out misconduct by all parties. The practical effect of such an injunction is to reward those parties engaging in misconduct at the expense of those which behave honorably.

I suppose we should drop the charges against ACORN since there's no comparable example of GOP vote fraud, so it makes us look desperate and vicious to go after Dem vote fraud.

If McCain paid me, he could still win.

Instead of tallking about LOSERS like Ayers, Wright and Rezko - he simply needs to acknowledge few things and ask few simple questions:

Acknowledge that he went overly political and did not stay true to his brand. Apologize for it.

Then lay out his resume. His accomplishment.

Then ask in this dangerous world, facing terrorism and other threats of billigerant Iran and resurgent Russia, combined with Global Economic meltdown, WOULD THIS BE A GOOD TIME TO PUT SOMEONE WITH NO RECORD AND NO ACCOMPLISHMENT IN WHITE HOUSE?

What is it in Obama’s resume or record that gives *anyone* any faith he could lead US out of this mess?

Hoover and FDR raised taxes and turned Deep Recession into Deep Depression.

What is Senator Obama proposing?

Repeat of same mistakes?

TAX INCREASE = DEEP DEPRESSION.

Double digit unemployment.

Even though I don’t agree with that rhetoric, but it would give him hell of a better shot then harping about Ayers.

Again, in these dangerous times, a complete NOVICE with no experiene at all should be commander in cheif?

You must have missed it.

The dog ate my homework.

An old friend came back into town.

The dry cleaners ripped my pants.

The check is in the mail.

Baby, baby, of course I'll respect you in the morning.
