Souter was nominated by the first Bush, Kennedy by Reagan, and Stevens by Ford. SCOTUS justices are a hit or miss thing; there's no guarantee that a Republican will nominate all conservative justices.

Of course, Clinton did nominate Ginsburg and Breyer.
