Palin to speak with Rushfor 10 mins
Heads up!
Nah! This is actually a little something to cheer the base.
0bama’s crowds are been getting smaller and smaller.
I’ve been burning up the phone to KFI Los Angeles 818-559-2252 giving them grief over the fact they are preempting Rush’s show this morning. They intended to preempt to 11:00am, but I believe they are getting nothing but grief over it.
They are acting as if they are covering the fires in Los Angeles, but we already have two stations in town dedicated to nothing but news. KFI is playing games.
I’ll be getting back on the phone now. If anyone wants to join me, that number above is tricky. They put you off to a recorder. You just have to make your statement in short sentence before they do.
They’re going back to Rush after 10:00am. Palin will air in Los Angeles after all.
Evidently they got their butts lit up over this.
I said it first.
They will ridicule and discredit her until they begin treating her like a congressman from Alpine.
Yeah, she’s just too much for the lefties. They’re melting...
FINALLY!!!!
I am hard-pressed to recall a time when a campaign allowed an asset like Governor Palin to be so wasted. For nearly a month after the convention they allowed the leftist Obama media to define her through slander, distortion and innuendo and it was only talk radio and the net that came strongly to her defense. Why they kept her away from friendly media and consigned her to the likes of Gibson and Couric is beyond me. She has shined on talk radio and in interviews with news people who actually act a little like news people.
They’re just jealous that McCain has a VP candidate that’s ABLE to be interviewed without saying something STOOPID.
Try AM 960, I think it’s Fox, from the high desert.
I hope I didn’t miss it.
I was in conference.
Bill Handel has his good points, but on a scale of gum drop to 1 lb box of See's Candies, he's a tootsie roll.
AH!!! Thank goodness, KFI is back to playing Rush. Thanks, KFI!
Alternate sources like the internet are a good suggestion, but the problem is this. KFI is the regional super-station for Los Angeles. Rush is heard from over a vast area, probably a good portion of the way to San Diego, almost to Santa Barbara, and throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
There are between 15 and 20 million Californians who can tune in to KFI on the radio. If you’re in your car or at work, you may be listening on the radio. Folks at home certainly can.
Yes we can find alternate ways to listen, but KFI was blocking access to hear the Palin interview by millions of people.
I am enjoying this nice computer link, sounds so much better than my AM radio.
If they got clobbered - GOOD!
I sent an email too.
Thank you!
I agree. Just before going back to normal programming, Handel mentioned that they only preempted one hour of Rush. I got the impression that Handel thought those Rush listeners were very uncaring for the victims of this recent fire.
The truth is, KNF 980 and KABC 1070 are both full-time news radio stations in Los Angeles. KFI’s broadcast of the same information they were providing, was a complete waste of air-time. (I may have those call letters mixed up, or incorrect, but the dial settings are accurate)
I mention this for folks who don’t know the Los Angeles radio situation.
Palin on the internet, KFI still has advertisements on. They seem to be reempting at least a portion of the interview.
Palin on. AWESOME.
There is a delay on the radio, so it worked out they are not preempting. The delay is between 45 seconds to a minute, that the reason for the confusion.
Rush sounds nervous, HA HA HA HA!
