You are correct, FRiend. We are not criminals, rabble-rousers, rabid haters, etc.

We will not wantonly destroy or kill. It is not in our nature.

HOWEVER, I for one will NOT bow down to the communists/socialists/liberals just because they manage to lie/cheat/steal their way into office.

Make no mistake about it - If the communists come into power, by whatever chicanery, our Constitution is dead - and I’d rather be dead than see my kids live under communist rule.

“We must hold a fillibuster-ready Senate”

What follows is a “Fishrrman you read it here first on FreeRepublic” prediction:

Assuming the democrats don’t win a 60-seat majority on November 4th, the filibuster is going to become the only obstacle preventing the ‘rats from having total control of Congress in 2009, and perhaps [assuming that Obama wins, of which he has good odds to do] control of both the legislative and executive branches of government.

Thus, the use of the filibuster - again and again and again and again - must become the recourse of last resort of Republicans for blocking the democratic purge for “progress” and far-left-liberal court appointments.

But that recourse of last resort isn’t going to last very long.

Remember something called “the nuclear option” that Republicans talked about when _they_ controlled Congress, but were loathe to undertake?

Watch the ‘rats employ this in a New York minute. They aren’t going to let “technicalities” get in the way of “change”. And they surely ain’t gonna let a few Republicans stand in the way of their Court nominations.

The democrats in the Senate will use the nuclear option to suspend the filibuster rule. But.... (and it’s a BIG BUT)...

...They will make this rule change in such a way, that it EXPIRES when the new Congress of ‘09-10 disbands. Thus, the filibuster rule will be RESTORED if perchance their is a Republican surge that re-takes the Senate in 2010. And then the ‘rats will again use it to block _Republican_ legislation and Court appointments, just as they do now.

Again, you read it here first!

- John

“People frustrated that McCain is not articulating conservative principals. Do most people even want to hear a message of self reliance, free markets and personal responsibility? We live in a culture now where nothing is your fault and the self is what is important”

If Obama is elected, it will mark that point at which the United States shifted from being a society of aspiration and production, into one of expectations and entitlements.

From which it will be almost impossible to shift back....

“Plus the majority of the armed forces are conservitive and as you cited, the first duty they do have is to both uphold and protect the Consitution from those who vowed to distroy it. Any politicos that tries to mess around with this document or the military will be in for a RUDE awakening”

Might be a good time to get ahold of a copy of “Seven Days In May” before the Obammunists ban it.... :)

"Tell me ONE time there has ever been a Republican "riot"." - GOPJ

GOPJ, its not really about a Republican riot... It is more about some of the conservative people being (finally) moved to action. It will be unfortunate that it takes someone trampling over the constitution to do it, but one can "only poke an old dog with a sharp stick an limited number of times before he bites back."

Please do a little reading on the "Battle of Athens (Tennessee) to see what can happen when the political elite think that they can get away with whatever they please.

The link is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Athens_(1946)

Now granted, that is from Wiki - but there are a lot of other sources of information out there.

It doesn't take a lot to get Tennesseans stirred up when they see the government try to pull a fast on on them. We can mobilize pretty quickly and once mobilized, do not respond well to being pushed back. See info on the "Tennessee Tax Revolt" at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennessee_Tax_Revolt

Again it's Wiki, but I'm just trying to make a point. I was at the tax revolt protest and what you do not read about very often are the people that went up against the "capitol police" (actually state troopers) around the state capitol building and refused to back away from certain areas, and disobeyed those officers that tried to "redirect" the protestors' vehicles away from the streets that encircled the capitol building. I burned out 3 horns during the protest outside while circling the building, and then stood nose-to-nose with a trooper clad in his black BDUs and jump boots. (They looked like something right out of a SWAT van, and where only there in the black uniforms for intimidation purposes.) Intimidate me, though? No... What Mr. Jack Booted Thug forgot was that not eveyone is afraid of someone that has been through the TN Dept of Safety Training Academy, especially when they've been shot at on three different continents (while in service to this country and to uphold and defend...) and had to deal with people that are actually trying to kill them. Had he touched me, I may have gotten locked up, but that SOB would have had to had someone feed him soup through a wire-up jaw for several weeks, while he sat in his wheel chair and crapped in a bed pan.

Point being, yes there are some that will wimper and withdraw in the face of what might come. But there are others that will stand against it - they have just not been pushed far enough at this time.

I'm not trying to flame you or anything... I just ask that you not paint all conservatives with the same brush. And remember... It was taxes and oppressive government that fomented an altercation about 233 years ago.

Now and again, the Tree of Liberty must be watered...

Regards,
Raven6

I’d rather be dead than see my kids live under communist rule.

Hang in there - we need you - your kids need you.

First, Obama's not a communist. He's a liberal - and an extreme one at that - but the people of this country have the right to choose a liberal. Just like we have the right to choose a conservative. Baldwin didn't leave the country when Bush was elected and you can not decide not to bother if a dem is elected.

Again, Obama's not a communist. Hell, even most communists aren't communist anymore. It's a totally discredited system.

So the question is "Is Obama a totalitarian?" and I can see why you might think that. But I don't think so. Even with his full share of really creepy friends, I don't think he is ( might be - but we'll have to wait and see.)

If he was a monster, you'll see most of the country catch on about the same time. Dems and Republicans will stand together against him - and the MSM will lose it's bias and join along. People love this country. Conservatives and liberals alike. No one's going to let one person steal our birthright.

So relax.

If Obama's elected we'll have to pay more in taxes (yuck) - there will be a redistribution of income from the producers to the non-producers. Dems always do that... And we might get bad ( but cheap) health care out of it. There might be an attack or war or two as the thugs of the world sense weakness - but our military will educate Obama and he'll see the wisdom of not letting thugs walk over us - and the threats will pass... So, work for McCain, but don't fear...we'll all be here the day after the election.

If Obama and the Fwank/Pelosi congress overreaches (as they did 1992-1994) then we will see a GOP-majority in both houses or (worst case scenario) razor thin margins for the Dems. Gridlock would be a good thing in said cases.

The good thing is they almost always overreach.

Also add:

Granting statehood to DC and possibly Puerto Rico (four more RAT Senators)

Outlawing Voter ID laws

Naturalizing all illegal immigrants and giving them voting rights

Restoring voting rights to all felons

Bottom line, if the RATs control the whole show in DC, it will be decades before we even have a chance to gain control again. I just pray our country would survive that long.

If the Dims win 60+ seats, it will take more than just one cycle to purge the Dems... and if we fall in true economic upheaval, the Sheep may embrace the overreaching (Socialism)

They won’t need McCain to reach across the isle anymore. You can bet the word bi-partisan will finally disappear.

There is no way to stop it my friends. If Obama is not elected, the inevitable will only be delayed. Between our educational system and Hollywood, young minds have developed a socialistic mentality. We must fall in step with the European Union, of which we will most likely become a part of at sometime in the future. Socialism will lead the world into the coming government of the Antichrist. Man’s only hope is the soon return of Jesus Christ. You my friends, are seeing the world move toward this great event! He will destroy the rule of the Antichrist and set up a kingdom that will experience true justice and righteousness.

I remember 1977 when Carter was sworn in and how sick I felt. That will be nothing compared to how I’ll feel if O gets in. In 1977 I was in a Western Auto Store and the owner had the TV on of the parade and he said, “We just took America back.” Those idiots loved Carter. Four years later you couldn’t find anyone who voted for him.
