I know, are they exempt from election law if it is from the US.But then I wonder how can the NDP afford to pay for that?I am not technically savvy enough to find out by myself.(sigh)

I was just pointing out the fact that 60% of the vote in Canada leans left. The two societies are very different. In the U.S, that proportion, I believe is exactly reversed. So despite the odds, because the left wing vote in Canada is split four ways, the Conservatives' prospects are decidedly bright today.

The parties do get public financing, I think. The Liberals have been handicapped in fund raising ever since ethics reforms banned union and corporate contributions that was the mainstay of their support in previous elections.

As I see it, Avalon is their last stand in the province. Even if they lose it, they’re kind of expected to anyway, so it won’t be a huge deal.

Is that the one were he was asked a question four times before he could answer it? I'm sure it was about the economy!

PEI has an all Liberal delegation. Its the reverse of Alberta which is all Conservative.

Come on.
We are 40-60, and you are running 50-50. So 50% of the US vote leans left. What of it?
Are you going to hang around the US election threads on Nov. 4th, pushing the fact that 50% lean left?
Cheer up, or find another thread.

I guess Rush has enough Canadian members to sell ads, but I use ad block on Firefox, so I don’t see it.
Why on earth would the NDP advertise on Rush???

The Conservatives could snatch one on PEI tonight if they’re fortunate (Egmont). The seat I was referring to, Avalon, is probably the CPC’s only chance to hold a seat in NL. Danny Williams is on a mission to wipe the Conservatives out in the province, which he very well might. If he doesn’t succeed, I will take that as a good sign.

The parties do get public financing, I think.Something like $2 per vote.

He didn't understand the question.

Your right about the percentages. However, IF we could get Harper and Company in in a large majority I am willing to bet that Socialism would be showing a clean pair of heels!! CO
