Palin: We can't let 'leftist groups…steal this election' (Since McCain won't, get 'em Palin!)

The McCain campaign is fundraising off embattled community group ACORN.

“The truth is that far-left groups in this country will do anything to help the Obama-Biden Democrats win the White House and maintain their majorities in Congress,” Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin writes in a fund-raising e-mail sent out Monday afternoon. “And last week, we found out they're going even further to win.”

“The left-wing activist group, ACORN, is now under investigation for voter registration fraud in a number of battleground states. . . . We can't allow leftist groups like ACORN to steal this election.”

ACORN called the McCain camp’s suggestion “ridiculous.”

Tell your friend she’s in my prayers.

“I feel like I have been for the last few eeks on a roller coaster.”

I’ve had enough of these “eeks” myself....;D

I have the opposite problem.
When stressed, I *don’t* eat.

My size and hypoglycemia are a pretty “eeky” combination....;]

I think God will pull us through this.

Hey...here’s something that I’ve had on my page at the very bottom for quite a while.

I came here willingly
And I will go down valiantly.
We made a vow to give it all we had to give
We made a vow to die as we had lived..

It’s a verse from Blue Oyster Cult’s “Golden Age of Leather”.

Here’s the song, itself:

I hope to live up to it, come the time.

[and I pinged GoLightly just to make her spend hours on YouTube again]...:))

True.

Unfortunately, hindsight’s 20/20.

[and I would have said something horrible, tactless, inflammatory and infinitely *rude*, myself, which is why it’s a good thing I’m not running for POTUS]...;]

It is McCain’s job to appear presidential.

Most of us understand and accept this.

What he should NOT do is take the wind out of his own campaign's sails by appearing to take the same view of his base as does the media.

Additionally, it is possible to appear 'presidential' and point out the radical extremism of your opponent at the same time. Why should we vote for McCain when, in his own words, we should not fear a president Obama? Its crazy.

“If McCain wins he owes this lady 100% of the credit.”

Our country is so lucky to have her as one of our leaders.

“Vote Baby Vote!”

John Fund said that more Republicans than ever need to get out and vote to make up for the voter fraud.

Well, I think McCain/Palin are going to win.

More and more stuff is coming out about Obama, and even the couch potatoes will know what’s going on by Election Day.

don’t give up...I will let you know how it goes with reading the book again...so far it has kept me away from the actual cigs.

twice the balls McCain has (so far)

he doesn’t deserve us (so far)

she does...what a woman.

Amen, Given General George S. Patton's belief in reincarnation, I do wonder if he hasn't chosen to have one more go

I don't recall if it was Reagan v Mondale or Bush v Dukakis, that several of our allies were voicing concerns regarding drastic changes in American foreign policy. The response was one of reassurance to our allies.

Now, I understand neither of this men are the stealth commie obammie but if McCain came out like Pat Buchanan or Alan Keyes (both of whom I voted for in primaries, by the way) it would have been more damaging to his campaign.

I wasn't going to vote for McCain until Governor Palin was added to the ticket but you can't go running in circles like your hair is on fire every time the man speaks like a moderate. You will dead of exhaustion in 7 to 10 minutes.

That's a good verse...

Here is one from one of my favorite movies:

Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

And if they do... then what? (the question no one dares answer)

Have the Republicans no lawyers? A spate of lawsuits and criminal investigations should follow.

I never said anything about McCain breathing fire. All I am saying is the American voter, independents included, are big enough to handle the truth.

Someone else got me stuck there earlier. I'd wandered here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJRthpxDM10

and some of the comments posted after it have gotten my blood boiling. Paraphrasing my Great-Grandfather, (probably right after FDR was first elected) knowing that one of our grand sires was among the little band of men who were at Concord, Lexington & Bunker Hill, the preservation of this republic seems to mean just a little more to me than most.

I've been disenfranchised by cheaters (first illegal vote in my state cancels *mine* out) for better than a decade. I'm not *getting* angry, because I've been angry about vote theft for years. Feigold got a court order to keep the polls open later in Madison & there were reports of buses arriving after the official voting had stopped. Madison manufactured enough votes to tip the election in Feingold’s favor. That was 1993. Things have gone further downhill since then.

The state's election board is refusing to follow or enforce Federal election laws & our state's DA is suing them to force them to follow the law. That same board helped get our Governor reelected in 2004 & the court challenge against them didn't come until *after* the election was done. The ACORN fraud in Indiana is being perpetrated out of the Milwaukee office. It's so well entrenched & comfy here, it's spreading out.

One if by land!

BTW, I'm resisting the urge to see if there's any newer postings from Tull there as I'm typing this response. ;o)

McCain is a genius. Giving the job to Palin to attack is a wise decision. She has the MSM’s attention and the voters love her and trust her to get the message out. They know she is a fighter and she can get away with slamming Obama on his corruption without McCain being called racistetc...McCain can stay on message in regard to his plan for America while letting Palin attack, attack, attack...just like a pit bull with lipstick. I think it’s brilliant and the way to win this election!
