These people on the other side this time are pure evil. Kerry and Gore were dimwits, but not evil. The thuggery (See column by Barone) this time is moving us to an Authoritarian government if Obama wins. If Obama cheats his way in, with the help of his ACORN comrades, then the next question will be : How do we get involved in any resistance in a non-violent way to overturn what we can, persist, and not give up?...
I can answer the question of gross or net. Washington state is the model of everything that the Obama campaign is following. We already have a B&O tax on GROSS receipts over $250,000. The idea is to equalize income and replace lost jobs with bureaucratic green jobs, which pay between $23,000 and $33,000/year. Then that is complemented by a minimum wage of $10.50, which is scheduled to be raised to $10.80 next year. That means that a McDonald’s worker will make almost $11.00/hr to make up for the loss of jobs in the small business sector. Then, we have the dumbing down of educational standards so that the people will not be dissatisfied with the menial jobs.
All you need to do is take a close look at WA State to see what an Obama administration would do.
