Hello? Is FR back?
well...here now
Rush just read off a list of 17 small businesses that have annual receipts of more the $250K that Obama says will get a tax break. All of these will get his tax increases, examples are the local mom & pop grocery store or gas station. He is posting them on his website
WnL mode, looking over my shoulder for the cause of the great FR freezeup this morning.
Didn’t even have a computer (or electricity or telephone) all weekend due to the snowstorm we got, I come running in here this morning and the place is just as screwed up as that two-mile-seven-percent-grade road I drove in the dark to get to the job site.
Ain’t Global Warming great? /sarc/
"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." -- George Orwell
"I have been asked to talk about what I consider the most important challenge facing mankind, and I have a fundamental answer. The greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda. Perceiving the truth has always been a challenge to mankind, but in the information age (or as I think of it, the disinformation age) it takes on a special urgency and importance. .." ~ Michael Crichton To read more - click HERE and scroll down to "Environmentalism as Religion" Remarks to the Commonwealth Club by Michael Crichton, San Francisco, September 15, 2003

NOTE: I want to recommend this article to you when you get time to read it:Strategic Intention and Mass Man by J. R. Nyquist
Excerpt:
..There recently appeared an essay by Anthony Daniels, published in The New Criterion, http://newcriterion.com/ in which he summarized Spanish philosopher Jose Ortega y Gassets notion of mass man as the man who goes from distraction to distraction, who is prey to absurd fashions, who never thinks deeply . In the first decade of the twenty-first century this is all too familiar. In 2008 we live in a society dominated by mass men, overtaken by mass psychology, mass media, mass schooling and the mass ignorance presently crowding in around us. Todays mass audience cannot distinguish the important from the trivial. What needs to be acknowledged, and one day will be acknowledged, is the very real distinction between low-minded and high-minded, between moral courage and venial conformism, between thinkers and fakers. This is what it comes down to. [snip]
