The most persistent falsehood about Senator Barack Obama’s background first hit in 2004 just two weeks after the Democratic convention speech that helped set him on the path to his presidential candidacy: “Obama is a Muslim who has concealed his religion.”
That statement, contained in a press release, spun a complex tale about the ancestry of Mr. Obama, who is Christian.
The press release was picked up by a conservative Web site, FreeRepublic.com, and spread steadily as others elaborated on its claims over the years in e-mail messages, Web sites and books. It continues to drive other false rumors about Mr. Obama’s background.

The rumor he is Muslim is followed closely by the rumor he is black.
The homosexual atheists who own and operate the New York Times are hardly trustworthy experts on Islam. I wouldn’t listen to any of this even if it’s nearly true.
I don’t know if he’s a Muslim or not. He says he is not. But the MSM seems to forget, Muslims can can lie if it suits their interests. The real question is, “Is he lying about it?” Seems to me he has a real problem telling the truth often times.

(1) Do you believe that the God of Abrham, Issac, and Jacob is the one true God?
(2) Do you believe Jesus was the Messiah prophesized by the Hebrew prophets of the one true God?
(3) Do you believe that Jesus was crucified for your sins, died, conqured death, and rose?
(4) Do you follow Jesus Christ?
(5) So you reject the teaching of Mohommed that Jesus was not crucified and killed?

When you attended a muslim madrassa in Indonesia as Barry Soetoro, documents indicate that you were muslim and your citizenship was "Indonesia". Care to comment?

The facts remain that a boy born of a clearly Muslim father is Muslim by birth and according to Muslim law and tradition remains so for life (or else). He was then the step child of another Muslim in Indonesia (Sotelo), and was enrolled as a "Muslim" in the public school there which by law taught Islam as part of the curriculum. He attended Mosque with his step-father. Some reports say he was adopted by Sotelo. He is probably an official citizen of both Kenya and Indonesia, as well as (maybe) the USA.
So what the Hell is the controversy? Bambi should acknowledge all this and then continue to claim he is a Christian (despite Rev. Wright indoctrinated into Black separatism and hate Whitey), pro-life (despite support of infanticide), pro-gun, etc. despite all the evidence to the contrary. (e.g “My Muslim faith...”)
But Obama really is a crypto-Muslim! Farrakhan’s proclamation that Obama is the messiah is about as close as we’ll probably get to proving it right now. Farrakhan would not make such a proclamation about ANYONE unless that man was a devout Muslim. Golly, why is the left “persistently” ashamed of the possibility that their secular messiah is in fact a Muslim messiah?
The New York Times, in their decayed integrity, is unable to find an objective Islamic scholar. And the New York Times can only find Saudi paid commentators or Islamofacists/socialists to paint their misleading pictures of Islam.
Love how the following is a statement of fact: “a complex tale about the ancestry of Mr. Obama, who is Christian” So the NYT knows who is a Christian and who isn’t? I would like the long list of things the NYT says is axiomatic.
