There were numerous football games in the SEC and Big Twelve yesterday. Can you imagine the response an Obama parade would receive among tailgaters outside the stadium at the Texas-Oklahoma game or the LSU-Florida?

I attended an SEC game yesterday. There were plenty of McCain-Palin signs and stickers everywhere. And a few NoBama’s too.

Classy as usual. How quickly they have forgotten 9-11. So much for the “love” in I Love NY.

I feel the same way after I did watching philly fans boo Sarah. I was born in the Bronx and grew up in a philly suburb. I am really ashamed of these people. How many people in our major cities are republican? Is it because they only see the works of man, and not see God? Obviously God is not seen in these people. Do we have missionaries going to our major cities? I feel like Jonah when God told him to go to Nineveh. :)

Please don’t ever invite me to one of those...I have been in a lot of countries as a U.S. Navy Sailor and I was never treated like that...

I’m afraid for the people in the crowd’s sake — I wouldn’t be able to...”be a good will ambassador,” in that hostile of an environment...someone would most definitely have to get hurt.

"I feel the same way after I did watching philly fans boo Sarah."

Now you know why I have ZERO identity with Philly even though my county borders it. When the bemoan the violence in West Philly I just shrug. Let them kill each other, I say. I feel nothing for them.

That aside, everyone who ever considers a tourist trip to NYC should remind themselves of this video first. I don't know what's more offensive -- the video or the condescending leftie comments on it. I guess I'm just a Philly country bumpkin -- even though I've lived in the Bronx, have a 149 IQ and two Masters' degrees (one in a hard science that would make most libs' heads explode).

McCain is finishing this campaign with his hatred of the Republican base intensified, and a burning, white-hot hatred for Sarah Palin, who is certainly now the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2012, whether McCain is elected or not. (I think that, if elected V.P., she ought to resign by mid-2009.)

If McCain succeeds in being defeated, I think we are in for four years much more dangerous than the four years of Carter. Hyperinflation goes without saying. Russia, China, and Jihad; Ayers-ACORN’s tool in the White House, with billions in federal funding for ACORN et al., with continued focus on destroying the states’ capacity to conduct elections; the IRS will use and abuse its new undercover powers in the bailout bill; tax code will explode in size, becoming ever more incomprehensible, the more easily to entrap virtually any citizen; every conservative think tank, magazine, etc., audited and audited again, and probably more than a few prosecuted; talk radio shut down; internet neutrality enforced; government will encourage left-wing hackers—ACORN will get into hacking in a big way, joined by the Red Chinese, Red Russians, Jihad, etc. The War on Terror will continue as a Potemkin operation, but Obama will use nukes on the Arab world, or on the mainland U.S., if necessary, to quash a REAL Islamic threat to the new American revolution. Paranoia will increase.

Fascinating to me how many people yell at them to “go home”. Guess they don’t like “that kind” in their neighborhood.

The feeling is mutual I assure you.

That should be required viewing in all public schools with an objective narrator explaining what is happening.

I wonder what the reaction would be if a group of marchers, dressed up in Communist KGB uniforms with hammer and sickle arm bands, carried Obama-Biden posters through New York. Have them carry a banner saying Communists USA for Obama-Biden. I wonder how many thumbs up and women baring their breasts for these marchers? I would want to see the video of that one.

“Can you imagine the response an Obama parade would receive among tailgaters outside the stadium at the Texas-Oklahoma game or the LSU-Florida?”

Unwelcoming perhaps, but a lot more respectful than what these people received in NYC.

Wow, don't miss this video! As Blue Turtle has stated, the liberals booing the small group of courageous NYC Republicans are among the most hateful, angry and ignorant people I've ever seen and heard.

This event took place on September 21, 2008 in NYC -- a city that was attacked by radical Islamic terrorists on 9/11/01. What short memories these people have...

Watch the YouTube video here (runs 5 minutes - WARNING: Offensive gestures/language):

Liberal Outrage: A Pro-McCain March In Manhattan

Note to NYC FReepers: Did any of you take part in this pro-McCain march in Manhattan last month?

Wow... I'm stuck here in deep-blue Connecticut. Your post above sounds like Heaven! Someday, my husband and I are going to move to a Red State. :o)

That being said, I have to say that so far I've seen about 90% McCain-Palin lawn signs vs about 10% Obama-Biden signs in Connecticut (and Rhode Island) towns I've driven through recently. Very strange...

This video made me re-live memories of my childhood.

In 1964 in Youngstown, Ohio my sister and two cousins and I, just KIDS but politically savvy enough to know right from wrong, spent a lot of time marching around with Barry Goldwater posters. Maybe not the best idea there, but we were young and idealistic and our parents had taught us well!

We were utterly amazed at the effort that Democrats would exert in order to abuse four 10 year old kids who were not even accompanied by adults! They would screech their cars to a halt, and get out and scream, flip us off, cuss, dare us to fight, “put up their dukes,” you name it. Some of the worst were women with cars full of children! I am amazed we were not killed, but with a group of four of us fighting for America we felt a little impervious, and were brave enough to keep campaigning for freedom.

The Democrats of course did themselves no favor treating us that way, as they taught us what we were dealing with. I have known ever since the irrational evil we are dealing with in our fight for freedom.

It also taught me what it is like to be a “minority” as there were very few Republicans anywhere in that part of the country (moved away in 1969).
