With his electoral prospects fading by the day, Senator John McCain has fallen out with his vice-presidential running mate about the direction of his White House campaign.
McCain has become alarmed about the fury unleashed by Sarah Palin, the moose-hunting pitbull in lipstick, against Senator Barack Obama. Cries of terrorist and kill him have accompanied the tirades by the governor of Alaska against the Democratic nominee at Republican rallies.
Mark Salter, McCains long-serving chief of staff, is understood to have told campaign insiders that he would prefer his boss, a former Vietnam prisoner of war, to suffer an honourable defeat rather than conduct a campaign that would be out of character and likely to lose him the election.

Me:Your screen name isn't sarcasm, apparently.
It is almost 100% sarcasm. Actually, the media almost never tells the truth, especially during election time.
So then your first statement is sarcasm, right?
I pray you are right.
Basically, the MSM got Bill and Hillary elected by not reporting their scandals and by the exaggerated reporting of republican scandals. In 1998, I chose my screen name as an obvious sarcasm.
An MSM staple is to overplay any disagreement, no matter how insignificant, among leading Republicans. The left-leaning Brit media covering the US election is happy to follow the lead of their American counterparts.
Did you notice spellcheck hates Obama?
“Mark Salter, McCains long-serving chief of staff, is understood to have told campaign insiders that he would prefer his boss, a former Vietnam prisoner of war, to suffer an honourable defeat rather than conduct a campaign that would be out of character”
No such thing as an honorable defeat little Mac. You’ll be the joke, the popular moderate who was thrashed by that unqualified left-wing guy cause he refused to call him unqualified or left-wing.
Woah, what the heck is this.
“McCains allies responded by suggesting that she had her own pastor problems”
Doing Obama’s work for him? What the hell?
Should McCain win Palin should begin her 2012 primary challenge at once.
It looks like another media bull$hit story.
The MSM is reporting that “they” hear this BS at rallies for McCain/Palin. What bothers me is that why isn’t a camera turned on these people and played ad mauseum on the TV? Where is the video?
Maybe because if we saw who was saying this stuff we would find out they were Obama plants.
There are so many negative reports, why bother voting? It’s over, we’re doomed, DOOMED!
LOL!
So do a lot of people! ;o)
