Odd, they could have expanded the plant at Delta - this new plant is not all that far away.

THe SerriaClub is against the plant of course.... and it is just South of SLC...... who would get the power?

The plant in Delta has 90%+ of the power going to SoCal

If i remember correctly, Utah is sitting on a lot of Uranium. and as far as as I know, Utah doesn’t have any nuclear power plants. Your state has plenty of natural resources, my suggestion would be to put your elected official’s feet to the fire to develop the resources you need to meet your State’s energy demands.
