If i remember correctly, Utah is sitting on a lot of Uranium. and as far as as I know, Utah doesn’t have any nuclear power plants. Your state has plenty of natural resources, my suggestion would be to put your elected official’s feet to the fire to develop the resources you need to meet your State’s energy demands.

(BTW, I am a property owner in UT, but not a resident)

Given the still raw emotions over the havoc and deaths wrought in Utah from the sheer negligence of the FedGov relating to nuclear issues, I doubt there would be much of a chance of a Nuke plant being built anywhere in Utah,.
