It was really not a big deal and is overstated, no doubt, but it makes for good story,LOL.
I think the biggest example of really horrendous Philly crowd behavior was the Michael Irvin injury.
He was taken off the field on a stretcher, it was obviously a very serious injury and the fans were brutal, that reaction is not acceptable or easily forgotten.
Believe me, I hated the Cowboys back then and even I was turned off by the fans jeers and boos. It was bad-—

I thought they were booing Deon who was doing some kind of religious curative dance around Irvin --I thought the cheers were the normal cheers for an injured athlete being taken off the field --that is the way the local sports color people who were there and fans who called the Sports talk Station explained it
