U.S. Sen. John Kerry denounced John McCain's negative messages on Friday, saying the Arizonan's campaign has turned "ugly" and "desperate."
Kerry, a Boston Democrat, made his remarks in a message distributed to his large email list. Here are the key grafs,
John McCain has shown a stunning failure of leadership. His campaign, in a time of economic crisis and foreign policy drift, has degenerated into a negative and nasty campaign of smears.
The reports are piling up of ugliness at the campaign rallies of John McCain and Sarah Palin. Audience members hurl insults and racial epithets, call out "Kill Him!" and "Off With His Head," and yell "treason" when Senator Obama's name is mentioned. I strongly condemn language like this which can only be described as hate-filled.
Kerry, who faced strong and inaccurate attacks as the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, notes recent studies that have shown that all of McCain's ads recently have been attack ads and calls on his supporters to retaliate against the attacks by visiting his website www.truthfightsback.com.

“Im no McCain fan but hell impress me if he stands firm in the face of democrat and mediatard fire”
Me too. The liberals are seeing the impact this is having and are getting very nervous. As Margaret Thatcher would say “ it’s no time to go wobbly” this is war.
It’s for the laughs. :D
So John Kerry walks into a bar, and the bartender says...
What’s ugly is shooting someone in the back...:/
I *do* hate them. I do. They hated us first. We can't just sit here and take it, anymore. Screw them all. SOBs - the lot of them.
I keep hearing this stuff about things like “kill him” being yelled out but I’ve not heard any tapes at all. Are they out there? From what I’ve read, if this did happen it sounded like they were saying it in reference to Ayres. Regardless, if someone was yelling it, I’d bet $100 it was a dem plant.
Sooprize sooprize sooprize!!!
Great leadership senator.
Please, no pics of Barbra Streisand.
April 23, 1971, Kerry claimed that U.S. soldiers had raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.
This is the reward McCain gets for caring about what Democrats think. Kerry should go back to his puerile anti-war protesting.
I think they are starting to get into trouble with Obama’s multiple connections to terrorist. They don’t like it, makes people think about who they are voting for, and would like to call it ugliness when its the truth. I guess the truth hurts.
I rather sleep with a coyote.
The face of a woman with “issues”.
These are the folks who think their opinions should govern America.
Who would ever have guessed that the unimposing young man in this picture would become Commodore Kerry, the Hero of Vietnam?

John Kerry:
“Never in modern history has an administration squandered American power so recklessly. Never has strategy been so replaced by ideology. Never has extremism so crowded out common sense and fundamental American values. Never has short-term partisan politics so depleted the strength of Americas bipartisan foreign policy.”
“Years ago when we protested a war, people would weigh in against us saying, My country right or wrong. Our answer? Absolutely, my country right or wrong. When right, keep it right. When wrong, make it right. Sometimes loving your country demands you must tell the truth to power.”
