I will be surprised if Senator John McCain doesn’t win in a LANDSLIDE rather than a 2004 style squeaker. That’s all that’ll surprise me: 25+ million PUMAs, all the women that’re jazzed about Sarah Palin, Latinos that wouldn’t vote for a black with a gun to their heads, Appalachia (which includes MANY swing states, geographically and/or culturally), the GOP base, conservatives that see Obama for the Marxist he is, moderates that like McCain, etc

I would be so happy it would be one of the highlights of my life. Here is hoping and praying you are right.

I’m pretty certain McCain is mentioned in more prayers than Obama. If I remember correctly, libs and atheists don’t do much praying.
I’ve always considered it smart to toke the Dealer when you’ve got a large bet on the table and I think there’s a few more cards coming out of the shoe...

so Obama bought that 30 minute time slot in late October for a victory speech?

I’m kind of worried about that. Does anyone know what he’s going to say? I know it will be a bunch of lies, but idiots fall for lies.

Unbeliebable!!! you took those words out of my mouth. And that Scripture came to mind first.

Thank you Lord, You are still in charge.

They are hoping that fewer Republicans go to polls.

Bingo!!!!!!!!!!

Most of my democrats family and friend, except for a few ultra liberal, are voting for McCain.

We are on a mission to convert as many democrats as possible.

Have registered for that usually don’t vote to vote for McCain/Palin

If each one would convert one democrat we will win without recounting.

He said this same bullsh*t during his coronation in Germany, too.

Cheers!

I think if McCain wins it will be by the tiniest of margins but I admire your optimism. If he should win it would probably be the biggest upset of all time. It would make Truman in 1948 look like nothing.

“What if CA goes for McCain?”

An emergency meeting of FReepers would have to be called to determine the best way to protect their property and family from the ensuing riots that would occur. I’m not kidding. The pollsters have really put us in a bind here.

274-264 or 270-268 is the likely outcome in a McCain win (unless he also wins PA).

What about a 269-269 tie. To get there, McCain would have to win 28 states to 22 for Obama. Are the House Delegations and Senators going to vote over the will of their states’ people? Would some type of agreement be made to put McCain/Biden or Obama/Palin in the first split since the 1800’s?

The man is a disgusting narcissist. He had his seat on his plane embossed with "President." He took a victory lap of Europe before he was even the formal Dem nominee.

It's going to be fun watching this egomaniac get his ass handed to him on November 4th.
