McCain calls on Obama to repudiate “shocking” Lewis comments

CNN) — John McCain – who has often praised civil rights icon John Lewis – called a statement by the Georgia congressman Saturday comparing the outbursts at recent Republican rallies to the rhetoric of segregationist George Wallace “a brazen and baseless attack” that is “shocking and beyond the pale.”

Lewis issued his statement after several days of headline-grabbing anger directed at Democratic nominee Barack Obama by some attendees at McCain campaign rallies.

Smart move of McCain to denounce negative slurs on Obama publically...NOW he can complain about Lewis.

I think we’ve all noticed that criticizing Obama is racist... not voting for Obama is racist... etc.

And according to Maureen Dowd...when McCain has a "rally" it has now been redifined as a "mob".

Mc Cain does not have to raise his voice. He simply must state firmly each fact of each scandal followed by each of Obama’s replies in each of the questionable areas (Those in the Hood both Chicago, Washington, and now Uganda)......and at the end state Obama is a Chicago Politician.....

If done correctly it would be funnier than any SNL skit.
