ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A state legislative panel has concluded that Sarah Palin abused her power in the firing of the state's public safety commissioner.
The findings were released after lawmakers emerged Friday from a private session in Anchorage where they spent more than six hours discussing a politically charged ethics report into the firing by Gov. Palin.

FOX has become a haven for Obamanoids. How can you “abuse power” when you are doing what you’re authorized to do by the constitution. Don’t do drugs! You might end up working for FOX.
No, but I want my “fair share”.
AP is reporting she “unlawfully abused her power.”
The media is so powerful, I dont know what to do. I feel so helpless. With McCain saying dont be mean to 24 hour Palin is mean. Where is our voice? Voices Voices Voices, I hear them on FR but where are the rest?????
Anybody know the political makeup of this legislative panel?
A bunch of Rats don’t approve of Sarah. Next story please.
... Palins firing of Commissioner Monegan was a proper and lawful exercise of her constitutional and statutory authority to hire and fire executive branch department heads.
Let me make a wild guess here that the legislative panel is a bunch of democrat socialists. I might be wrong, but I dare anyone to challenge me.
Oh, by the way
We love Sarah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beatings, HELL!

II Findings
Finding Number One
October 10, 2008
Vol. One - Public Report
For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah
Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.11O(a) of the Alaska Executive
Branch Ethics Act. Alaska Statute 39.52.11O(a) provides
The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a
public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest
through official action is a violation of that trust.
Finding Number Two
I find that, although Walt Monegans refusal to fire Trooper Michael Wooten was
not the sole reason he was fired by Governor Sarah Palin, it was likely a contributing
factor to his termination as Commissioner of Public Safety. In spite of that, Governor
Palins firing of Commissioner Monegan was a proper and lawful exercise of her
constitutional and statutory authority to hire and fire executive branch department heads.
Finding Number Three
Harbor Adjustment Service of Anchorage, and its owner Ms. Murleen Wilkes,
handled Trooper Michael Wootens workers compensation claim properly and in the
normal course of business like any other claim processed by Harbor Adjustment Service
and Ms. Wilkes. Further, Trooper Wooten received all the workers compensation
benefits to which he was entitled.
Finding Number Four
The Attorney Generals office has failed to substantially comply with my August 6,
2008 written request to Governor Sarah Palin for information about the case in the
form of emails.
Now, the libs will make a big deal about it, calling it an abuse of power, and digging up some heinous crimes to compare it to.. be ready..
Can anyone find a similar example of a Democrat going against ‘the system’ to fire someone in a similar circumstance where they praised him. It may be good for a quick reaction.
Exactly.
Our voices will be heard in election day - if we go out and VOTE!!!! THAT is our voice...
....more useful idiots just doing their job for Obama
YEP PALIN ABUSES POWER OF HER OFFICE!!
While Obama is a decent guy and would not make a scary President...so says McCain.
LOL
Folks, these bastards just won. Sorry, you all know I’ve been fighting the good fight, but it’s pretty much over.
CNN has the headline as sarah abised power, broke no laws... msnbc.com just blasts sarah abused power “unlawfully” BLEH...
"Governor Palin's firing of Commissioner Monegan was a proper and lawful exercise of her constitutional and statutory authority to hire and fire executive branch department heads."
Of course, its the first finding the media will take issue with.
Well, that scumsucking pig Hollis French got his long awaited, pre-ordained, orchestrated, and fixed October surprise.
