Our only hope was to “drag him across the finish line” knowing the life expectancy issue would be in our favor. Now he digs in and refuses to move but backwards. I’m very angry and all those other descriptives.

MC,

In his defense, I must say that the MSM has grabbed onto this shit like we are all dressed in sheets ready to string some people up. Asswipe Gergen is at it again tonight saying McCain needs to “calm down” his crowds. They are trying to make this into something it’s not. I think he’s just doing damage control. They’re happy to distract from their boy.

I think what ha scared Coleman was last week’s Minnesota Poll that showed him trailing Franken by 9 points.

Many of those polled said that they were turned off by Coleman’s negative attcks on Franken.

There are many who consider the polling methodology to be flawed and this poll to be an outlier.

But either this poll has spooked Coleman into shutting off the negative ads or his own internal polling is showing that the negative ads are hurting him.

Hard to say which one is which...
