New McCain Ad: 'Acorn"
Ace of Spades ^ | October 10 2008 | Ace of Spades

Posted on 10/10/2008 11:46:46 AM PDT by tiniyo

Awesome Ad: "ACORN" More like this. They're getting it. Bit by bit, they're getting it.

They're not just linking community organizing Obama to his onetime employer, radical community organizer ACORN.

Nor are they merely connecting Obama to ACORN's massive voter fraud activities.

They're hanging the subprime crisis around Obama's and ACORN's neck.

This ad gives me hope. It gets to the truth. Even if the polls aren't showing the impact from all of this yet, I say again: this is hollowing out Obama's support among persuadables. Whether we ultimately convince enough of them is anyone's guess, but surely anyone who sees this ad is less likely to vote for Obama.

McCain: More. Every. Single. Day.

“Bad judgment, blind ambition, too risky for America”

That’s the first punch in a one-two combo... now, what’s #2 going to be?

Great ad! It even cover the $800,000.00 Obama gave to ACORN.

Even if the polls aren't showing the impact from all of this yet

The polls might not show anything much because 2/3 (over half are Democrats and the rest are fence sitters) of all the American voters are total brain dead cult followers. Obama, the snake oil salesman, has them in a trance.

They’re finally bringing out the big guns.

It may be too complicated for McCain to use at this late date but, for me anyway, here is the ultimate problem with Obama;

They need to quit saying “Too risky for America” and start saying “A danger to America”.

The polls might not show anything much because ...

... the polls sample people who are home during the day on landline phones. Some cross-section of America!

They're hanging the subprime crisis around Obama's and ACORN's neck.

This is very important, because most voters ignorantly link the crisis to "Bush's policies." But the key is for McCain to expound upon this with verve and at length in the final debate, not just in ads.

and they need to shampoo, rinse and repeat this:

ACORN = NATIONWIDE VOTER FRAUD

Even if the complexity of the ACORN issues (and ties to Chicago lefties, Fannie/Freddie, etc.) confuse the average American - people will NOT STAND for voter fraud!

Please, McCain campaign - RUN WITH IT!

I don't think we can hit too hard at this point.

Look, McCain has been fighting like a little girl until recently. He needs to go for the jugular.

I know McCain has to get his various plans out, but every speech he should hammer Obama on Ayers, Wright, ACORN, and the FMs. Many Americans, the squishy twenty to thirty percent, are connecting the financial distress with the Republicans. McCain has to hang this debacle around the necks of the Dems. If he doesn’t, he’ll lose.

There’s a pattern here. McCain runs a web ad to get free airtime on the discussion shows and then runs a shorter TV ad. Look at Ayers - they launched the web ad yesterday and the commercial today. Let’s see.
