I’m with you totally on this. The sanctity of the vote is the keystone upon which the foundation of our freedoms depend.

Citizens all across the country need to get out in their communities and do whatever we can to help prevent and report voter fraud. We need to start a grass roots movement to educate people on the sanctity of the voting privilege and impress upon them why no one should jeopardize that precious privilege by registering in a parking lot with a stranger about whom they know nothing.

Voting and driving are both privileges, not rights. In order to exercise either privilege requires registering with the state and proof of identification. To drive also requires demonstrating a rudimentary enough knowledge of the process of driving to keep you from hurting anyone. I can’t sign up for a drivers license with any volunteer off the street. So why shouldn’t voting require my going to a state office to register and demonstrating that I at least have that much interest in voting and maybe know enough not to hurt the electoral process.

Too bad we can't (don't) require the same to vote.
