I hope not. That will be a big mistake.

Good God, what a stupid idea.

We don't need more of the People personality Palin, we need more of the substantive Palin.

McCain did great on SNL singing Streisand. It can be cleverly used to disarm the lefties.

It will be funny if she plays Tina Fey doing the American Express commercial.

We live in weird times.

10 million morons are the ones who decide elections.

This is the show that ruined her reputation, this is the show that can restore it.

It’s tough to watch but wise to do, I believe.

Don't be so sure it's a mistake.

I see it as a "nothing to lose" proposition.

She will hold her own.

At worst, a break-even.

After all, last weekend, they were merciless against Bawney Fwank.

Bet that got a few libs thinking (assuming they are capable of thinking).

She gots a bit of personality.

This might work.

Did’nt do Hillary any harm, in fact it helped her.

Put her next to Tina Fey, with Tina all trussed up like a moose.

I give her credit for going into enemy territory (culutrally) and in that regard going into the vipers den.

May it soften some lefties and indies?

Maybe....

A young college kid called Bill Bennett (?) the other day from a very liberal college. Many kids were in a hugh hall watching the debate. He noted, may girls chatting positively about Sarah stunned, and the Daily Kos types leaving in shock knowing she is the real deal.

If she can reach 10% what a difference that will make.....

Tim Russert: The President forgets to run for re-election… and the Republicans are without a candidate. Does John McCain then step in to fill that void?

Sen. John McCain: I would call the President, and remind him to run.

I think it’s a fantastic idea....She’ll be a hit!
And it will give her a chance to show what a good sport she’s been through all of this.

How--by showing she can "take a joke"?

I don't think anyone is thinking about that. They're thinking "Can we take her seriously?"

Now they are saying she *may* appear on the next live show, as tomorrow seems to be a repeat (with Michael Phelps). Or not.

I think they just said that information is incorrect? Next week instead of this week?

Either way its a horrible idea. The smile on the face comes with a knife in the back.

I disagreed with her giving interviews to hostile left wing jerks but this might work out for her. It could be a way to humanize herself to a lot of young voters who've only seen her being skewered by the MSM on a daily basis.

My opinion of McCain went up - just a wee little - the time he hosted SNL. His warmth and humor shone through in that environment.

When Bob Dole made an appearance once, his warmth and humor was visible and I thought, "You dumbass, why didn't you show a little of that during your campaign instead of acting like an old school marm?"

When algore hosted, he looked like an idiot. He was being a good sport, but there was nothing there. Same with jesse jackson and al sharpton.

I think the leftists at SNL will be charmed by Sarah in spite of themselves. She has that affect on people.
