If Obama becomes president and there are Dem majorities in the house and senate, isn't it a given the assault weapons ban will be reinstated? What would stop them from doing that?

I would expect it to be renewed before the end of 2009. I can't believe the Dems would think it would get them voted out like in 1994.

I just saw a Hussein ad with a “gun owner” that was talking about how Hussein was all for gun rights for hunters and for protection. The ad then immediately went into how McCain voted to send jobs overseas.

It was a very weird ad.
