An amateur video about the reality of life in Polands peacekeeping forces abroad has become a hit on YouTube and the Polish Defence Ministry is highly impressed.
A nine-minute amateur film, Polish Army, presenting scenes of the Polish peacekeeping missions abroad as been viewed by over 750,000 on the internet. The Defence Ministry is so pleased with it that they have decided to ask the filmmakers to make another film especially for them.
The authors, a group of fans of the cult computer game Canon Fodder say that the film is the fruit of their great love and admiration for the Polish Army.
We contacted the Defence Ministry and obtained a lot of film material from them, Lukasz Siemiradzki, one of the founders of the Cannon Fodder Media Group has told tvp.info.
After its Internet premiere, much to the amateur filmmakers surprise, the Ministry called them back to offer them some work.
The Defence Ministry have called their job offer a natural consequence of the appreciation of the Internet as tool to reach a wide audience.
We appreciate every initiative to promote the Polish Army, so we decided to suggest regular cooperation with the Cannon Fodder Media Group, said the Ministrys spokesman Robert Rochowicz.
The Internet service reports that the young amateur filmmakers will work with the company Vena Art, the official producer of spots about the Polish military. (mj)

A fine little film. Any army whose mantra is “ God, Honor,Homeland” is not to be trifled with.
Nice video.
LiveLeak has some good videos too. I don’t know about this one though, it’s not for all viewers:
Brutal Action (mature audience only)
