It’s starting to smell like the 1960 election and no word from the msm.

I saw this segment. If it wasn't for that group of college students working on a project, they never would have discovered all those dead people on the rolls. The fact that the election board can't get to checking them out prior to Nov. 4th is BS. I want to know how long these people have been dead, and how long they have remained on the rolls. In this day and age, there isn't any reason for this to occur. There's enough ways to find out if someone has died. When someone dies, a death certificate has to be issued. It should be the responsibility of each county's Bureau of Vital Statistics or County Clerk's office to provide the local election board on a monthly basis, or at least quarterly, a certified list of names, addresses, etc. of individuals who have died during that period. This is inexcusable.

And if ACORN is involved, it just shows yet another state that has been infiltrated by the scumbags. ACORN's finances need to be frozen by the government, and the group dissolved. They're using taxpayer money to commit fraud and influence the outcome of Presidential elections.

Actually the FBI should set up surveilance operations and see who shows up to vote for these dead people. If CT has omitted these people are registered, that should be plenty for the FBI to get involved.

"I can understand a self-motivated ACORN street worker, fudging up a bunch of names just to get a check. If they keep no records, these are just wasted names on the voter rolls."

A good point, and that's really the question. From the way the original post was stated, I also couldn't tell if these are dead people who recently registered after being dead. Or are these dead people who just haven't been removed from the rolls yet, thus they are still registered.

"People do die between elections though, and often election officials don't have the resources to keep right on top of these things. "

That's BS. All they have to do is require the Bureaus of Vital Statistics or County Clerk offices in each district/county to regularly report the deaths on a monthly or quarterly basis to the local Board of Elections. Death certificates have to be issued when someone dies. One person at each of the county offices that issue these certificates can be assigned the job of sending a certified copy of the names and addresses of people who died in a given period. And it would be the responsibility of the head of that department to ensure that such death records were issued. There isn't a hell of lot of work involved.

I’m also guessing that around 8500 registered voters died between now and the last election.

Voter fraud is something to be taken seriously, and everytime people scream from the rooftops about something that has an explanation that is not voter fraud, it just drowns us out when there is a legitimate complaint.

Homeless voting is not voter fraud. College students voting at their school is not fraud. Felons voting (in most states) is not fraud. Dead people on the rolls is not fraud (it is if they vote).

Why can’t the name be starred on the voting roll and the “dead” folks be arrested on the spot?

Why waste the time and money?

Just truck them out to the cemetary and rebury them.

They'll probably complain and claim they're still alive but we all know how democrats lie.

I was considering creating my own post, but this is close enough.

James Carville’s remarks about if Barrack is up in the polls are up by 5% and McCain wins anyway there will be riots. is nothing short of race baiting. A republican with a spine should stand up in congress and quoting Carville call for emergency Election reform. This reform should come in two parts.

Part 1: All federal elections will be validated by photo ID that is accepted by the state and is tracable to a specific person. (Drivers license, Passport, etc.) the ID number would be written next tot he name of the person voting, and once the photo is validated by the poll worker, they will initial the line.

Part 2: All counties with precincts that have any of the following conditions a) greater than 100% registration b) People who are dead casting votes. c) People voting without an ID, (You get the idea, I hope). will have all federal monies withheld from them until such instances have been fully investigated, and someone has been arrested.

The purpose of this emergency legislation is to both inhibit voter fraud and instill confidence in the electoral process by the people. this Republican should state that anyone opposing this bill is voting for Voter fraud, and civil unrest and if this bill is not passed, it will be their fault if there is unrest.

MHG, can you ping your group to this?

Also, lookk to Florida, 2000.

Claims of denied ballots were always justified by “large number of (sometimes “new”) registrations and little turn out in specific precincts.

As I’ve said before, willy-nilly voter registration needs to stop. Each and every voter registration needs to be done directly between the voter and the local Elections Board. No intermediaries. No blank registration forms. You want to vote, you write or go in person to the Elections Board and given them your personal info, they send you a registration form with that info printed on it, and you sign it and return it directly to the Elections Board office — if by mail, one registration form per envelope (better yet, only in a preprinted envelope from the Elections Board, similar to what’s done for absentee ballots). And it needs to be absolutely illegal to pay anyone (except the salaried Elections Board staff) to register voters, just as it is absolutely illegal to pay anyone to vote.

Good points about ways to eliminate fraudulent registrations, but there isn’t time for that now, what we can do is make sure the voters actually exist, and that they are who they say they are.

Youre right, of course, but its no BS. Admittedly I'm not an expert here, but there hasn't been an election since I first volunteered as an election judge where I haven't found dead voters on the active list in any precincts where I've worked. The reporting is done, but the names might not be purged with 100% efficacy. Confusion-(John Q Public; John Public; J Q Public)over names, addresses, etc can screw things up. It shouldn't, but it does. Our county election commission is pretty good, but since we're talking about Ct. here, Maybe I should shut my yap.

By the way, none of my dead voters actually voted.

We don’t have much time to pull this off, but there is another solution.

Invalidate ALL voter registrations, immediately, nationwide. Absentee ballots will be invalidated as well.

Then, announce a nationwide voter registration drive during the week of Oct. 26 to Nov. 2, in person only.

It’s not as big as the Manhattan Project but it will certainly do away with corpses registered to vote. (But if they want to come in and register, that’s entirely up to them!)

>>College students voting at their school is not fraud.<<

Some of them vote in 2 counties or 2 states.
