Guys, I wish it meant something...but for God’s sake...if you had video of Obama sodomizing a goat it wouldn’t matter to the LameStream media.

You seem to think that the goal is to persuade the old media, but that isn't the case.

HOW MUCH IS CHAVEZ CONTRIBUTING TO OBAMA!
Ayers has since lectured the Marxist dictator of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, on using public education as an instrument for advancing “revolution.” Meanwhile his stepson, Chesa Boudin, has gone to Caracas as an “adviser” to the anti-American Chavez.

Oh, by coincidence, Chavez and Castro are two of the dictators Obama said he’d like to give face time as president of the U.S.

It gets worse when one looks at Obama’s political organization.

Obama’s own Web site has held at least 15 favorable mentions of Che Guevara, according to a count by blogger Henry Gomez.

When an Obama precinct captain in Houston flew a Cuban flag bearing Guevara’s likeness, Obama said only it “disappointed” him and “does not reflect (his) views.” He never publicly ordered the flag down, nor rejected Guevara’s blood-soaked communism.

Another Obama supporter, acting in Obama’s name, secretly contacted Colombia’s Marxist FARC terror chief Raul Reyes to tell him that Obama would cut off U.S. military aid to Colombia to hinder its war against FARC, as well as deny Colombia free trade, a strategy FARC considers key to overturning Colombia’s democracy.

"Persuade" might not be the right word, and I agree with you the old media isn't what it used to be. But the LameStream Media as I call it does have a tremendous advantage regarding distribution of their misinformation.

Getting ACCURATE information through that clogged pipeline of hypocrisy and liberalism is difficult enough--spreading the truth about Hussein this close to election day is very difficult, and the LSM has the distribution tools we could use responsibly.

That being said, I hold ON to the hope that McCain is going with the theory that most people don't pay REAL close attention until the last week to ten days before the election. Maybe he is keeping his powder dry until then...a couple concerns I have are that he may be misjudging the electorate this time...but more troublesome is that Hussein may also be holding back a big news "attention grabber", like a Colin Powell endorsement or some such nonsense...not that it would matter TRULY, but it would soak up tons of time and tons of news coverage--effectively shutting McCain's message out.

We'll see.
