I think W is trying to stop the bleeding before the election and they are trying to do a short term fix for problem that needs a long term fix.

I think W is trying to stop the bleeding before the election and they are trying to do a short term fix for problem that needs a long term fix.Bush may as well start looking long-term because McCain isn't going to win. McCain is too concerned with being a member of the US Senate Old Boys Club to do what has to be done to be elected president. Now I know why senators rarely become presidents.
