AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--that's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--that's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
Royalties do in Brownies.
Just heard Rush say that James Calville predicts “riots” if Obama losses. Wow.
Alton Brown was so good...and he is funny...you said it twice. I watched a Florida Atlantic Troy football game and when I’m watching Sunbelt Conference Football — that is when nothing’s on!!
No, the ones who were saying McCain wasn’t doing well or that the debate was boring were not getting the troll treatment. The ones who were where the ones who were saying that it was all over, that Obama was going to win the election, and that McCain just lost the election, etc. There is a key difference. Too many people thought McCain was doing poorly, or not as good as he could/should to get the troll treament.
Sure there’s a “Me, too” chorus on Free Republic, but it is far smaller than the dem plants and operatives who sign up to demoralize the rest of us. The difference is how far they’ll extrapolate a particular event into total failure.
ACORN probs have apparently spread to nine states. The Feds are onto them.
When I went to FAU they didn’t even have a football team...
Thanks Rush!
He’s right
They must be very worried if they need to take someone that represents small town USA to mean they are racist.
Hello 527s... would you like to run it?? :)
You mean obamba’s brother who lives in his home sweet hut?
Well put. Belmont invested SO much time, effort, money, and heart into last night's debate, and Brokejaw SQUANDERED it royally and embarrassingly in the blink of a Biden lifted-eye.
Britney "Ding-dang-y'all" Spears would have done a better job than Brokejaw.
Thanks for the links Match, long time no see... I hope all is well.
Interesting.
Amazon.com Review Book Description "This is not a book about the decline of America, but rather about the rise of everyone else." So begins Fareed Zakaria's important new work on the era we are now entering. Following on the success of his best-selling The Future of Freedom, Zakaria describes with equal prescience a world in which the United States will no longer dominate the global economy, orchestrate geopolitics, or overwhelm cultures. He sees the "rise of the rest"the growth of countries like China, India, Brazil, Russia, and many othersas the great story of our time, and one that will reshape the world. The tallest buildings, biggest dams, largest-selling movies, and most advanced cell phones are all being built outside the United States. This economic growth is producing political confidence, national pride, and potentially international problems. How should the United States understand and thrive in this rapidly changing international climate? What does it mean to live in a truly global era? Zakaria answers these questions with his customary lucidity, insight, and imagination.
I'd love to see McCain get Connecticut - and a few Dems retire from the state house and state senate -- and Courtney and Murphy retire.
I don’t think that America would be torn apart in a civil war if Obama loses. In the end, it would mostly change the demographics.
