I groaned when McCain said that, only because I feared it would become a mini issue for 2 days.

No doubt will be called “racist.”

Didn’t watch. What did he say?

I can’t remember exactly what prompted it, but he was saying something to the effect of “so and so will do this and so and so that”
and then when referring to Obama he said “That one” will/won’t do.
It was just an odd moment.
To: Harry Wurzbach
Yeah, that’s going to be reported in the media as if McCain call him a ... well, you know ... the N-word. THAT be the single soundbite they use for McCain from the debate.

I guess. People are a bit touchy if that is an issue. Obama didn’t even call McCain “Senator” in the first debate.
I kinda wish this would become an issue because the bill McCain was speaking about shows Obama to be a hypocrite.

How is that comment racist? Seriously. I think it requires a lot of projection to make that stretch, although where liberals are concerned I should not be surprised.

The race card will not help Obama in any way with undecideds.

They’ll skewer him like they did Ross Perot. He was speaking to a black crowd and said “you people”, if I recall correctly.

No, McCain was talking about who voted for and against the pork laden energy bill. McCain said that you’ll never guess who [senator] voted for the energy bill and pointed to Obama and said, “that one.”
