There is no doubt an Obama election will result in great harm to our country. The people seem to be stampeding in that direction, however.
To anyone who has not done so already, I suggest you start planning for how you and your family will survive a total economic collapse.
Even with McCain, we still might not avoid it. With a President Obama it becomes a certainty.

Hayek’s thesis was basically that the people were already sold on the government being the solution to their problems.
The rest was just a matter of dynamics (forceful people taking over the government because they were the only ones who could “get things done”).
Socialism paved the way for Nazism.
Think about how many people in this country already look to government first to cure their ills.
