I checked some NYC directories and I found:

Obama, B 339 E 94th #410-2857 in 1983 to 1986 Directories.

Raila Odinga subsequently lost the controversial (probably rigged) presidential election. In what appeared to many—including Human Rights Watch– as a coordinated strategy from the top, (“Violence We Fled was Planned, Say Kenyan Refugees” Reuters 1/26/2008 and “Kenya: Violence Planned Before Poll, Says Report” The Nation 3/18/2008) his Luo supporters (a core of whom call themselves The Taliban”(“Ethnic Gangs Rile Kenyan Slums” Newsweek 1/10/08)) engaged in what US Envoy Jendayi Frazer called “clear ethnic cleansing” (“US Envoy Calls Violence in Kenya ‘Ethnic Cleansing’” USA Today 1/30/2008) of the Kikuyu opposition.

Barack’s history with Ayers\Dohrn\Wright really begins with Michelle...

The article suggests the relationship is pre-Michelle, since Ayers, Dohrn and Obama were all in New York at the same time, going to the same school, and to the same radical seminars at Cooper Union in the early 80s.

Excellent work by Andew McCarthy. He should share a Pulitzer with Kurtz for being the only working journalists that are presenting facts about the Obama/Ayers relationship.

Obama’s white mother and grandparents held unconventional views to say the least. He has had revolutionary influence his whole life but one never hears about his universalist unitarian grandparents or his mother and her radical involvement in Washington state and Hawaii. Those influences matter in most cases. The Bible says “Raise up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it.” If its true about godliness, it is true about radicalism.

There were a few William Ayers listings. I noted that they weren't close to the Obama address but I didn't take them all down.

I made note of this one before I found the Dohrn listing:

439 W 46th in the 1983 Directory.

When Ayers and Dohrn turned themselves in they lived at 52 W 123rd but that was in 1980.

When Kathy Boudin was tracked down after the Brinks robbery she was living at 50 Morningside Drive.

I also checked out the address for BJ Richards the owner of BJ's Kids - the day care where Ayers worked and where the Ayers/Dohrn kids attended.

She lived at 316 W 84th and her day care was at 76 W 85th.

The interesting thing about BJ Richards is that she also moved to Chicago in the late 80s and I think she presently runs a day care with Ayers' brother John Ayers' wife Judi Minter and lives in their duplex in Oak Park.

I was checking her out originally on the oft chance the Obama girls went to her day care (thinking maybe that comment the campaign made about the Ayers/Dohrn and Obama kids going to school together was distorted). But when I looked at it closer it appears Oak Park is a hike from Hyde Park.

Manhattan’s a small place, I know. But all three went to Columbia and a neighboring college around the same time, and seem to have had some friends in common. Certainly had interests and political inclinations in common.

While Charles Rangel reminds me of one that’s too big to flush, Obama is looking more like that nugget that swirls around yet refuses to go down no matter how many times one hits that handle.

Seriously though - we’re about to see where our beloved country is going in a few short minutes. We KNOW McCain has the ammo between his staff and FR providing it.
