Brokaw. Ugh. I saw him twice in person. I do not like Tom Brokaw.
Oh please don’t bring up the friggin “Miss Congeniality” line again.
Brokaw spoke at the OU Graduation the other year — he even brought up Bush was selected not elected and told the graduating class there would never be another greatest generation. I was sitting there thinking what are these graduates, chopped liver. He also said there is no need to vote when elections are decided by a court not a voter. I was fighting mad by the time the speech was over.
He didn’t stay for the reception afterward but took off right after he spoke.
He was horrible and a speech I will never forget.
