McCain is as ignorant of the economy as he said.
Not that there’s anything wrong with ignorance on a topic; that’s what advisors are for.
But where are his advisors telling him the right way to handle this?
Absent. He has the wrong team.
That tells you a lot about Juan’s judgment. Not bright enough or possesed of enough self knowledge to cover for his weaknesses.
A good leader knows when to ask for help.
I’m trying to figure what kind of economic adviser he could have who would suggest we buy up and rewrite everyone’s mortgage. I’m having a hard time figuring out who would own up to it: it sounds too much like McCain himself to me.
McCain has a problem with the Bush team. He should have put his own team of advisors together.
The GOP advisors/drivers/analysts/brief preparers are incompetent and stuck in a rut.
