While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I think he needs to jab and jab and jab. Needle 0bama. We know he’s got a thin skin. Get him riled up. Get him to lose his composure. Get him stuttering. Then lay the litany of facts on him. Label him a Socializt, which he is.
Time for John to step up to the plate, start throwing down directly to Barack, kick hind ARSE and take names!!!!
Anything less is unacceptable and will give the MSM the opportunity to start celebrating, 4 weeks before the election.
Obama plants in audience could start booing.
McCain would tee-it-up for Obama to do a Clinton, “No attack ever fed a hungry child.”
McCain is within the MOE, there's no need to do this now.
But if Mr. Superego brings it up....it's on!!!!!!
Theme should be..
Obama = Radcial, Reckless and irresponsible, Trillion in spending for socialist agenda would cause the economy to completely collapse.
Please keep praying for America, John McCain tonight and always, and Sarah Palin.
“I hope its not a head fake....I hope he lays off the Ayers/Wright attacks tonight.”
I think the door is wide open for McCain offensively. He might indeed feel that enough has been said about Ayers and will take a different tact. There are a lot of holes in Obama’s defense. Lot of areas to exploit. McCain could be getting them all set to defend against an Ayer attack but instead might launch an assault somewhere else. I have a feeling he is going to strike somewhere and strike hard.
A lot of course will depend on the questions and the ebb and flow of the debate.
I never heard about a 250k tax exclusion on a home sale for seniors. Hussien wants to tax my pet rock as well.
TAKE A SHOT:
-When the buzzwords change or maverick or hope are used
-When someone says I voted for or against or He voted for or against
-When McCain refers to Obamas inexperience
-When McCain refers to the moderator as my friend or the audience as my friends
-When Obama somehow works in his personal story of being raised by a single mom and his grandparents
-When Obama makes a smirk, shakes his head, and says, Now wait just a minute or hold on there
-When Obama makes the case that McCain and Bush are one and the same or uses the phrase more of the same
-When Obama talks about multi-tasking or having to address more than one crisis at a time as president
-When anyone brings up suspending the campaign
-When either one lays claims to being bipartisan or working across the aisle
-Its a Social when Sarah Palin is mentioned!
-Finish whatever you are drinking if Obama or McCain loses his temper!
TAKE A SHOT:
-When someone mentions the Bailout of Wall Street
-When someone mentions Wall Street and Main Street in the same train of thought
-When someone starts quoting dollar figures (for example: 700 billion)
-When someone talks about mortgages/foreclosures/homeowners
“Comments 214, 476, 722, 1304, 1687, and 1907 will probably say it best. Comment 104 needs to be removed by a moderator.”
I’ll be monitoring this thread closely now for dang sure. LOL!
That's the ticket!
And McCain's good at that.
If he can get Obama to give him the finger, as he did to Hillary...election over!
McCain could be thinking that this is the mushy middle that he can’t be too hard on Obambi.
WHAT ABOUT CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN?
I concur.
The invasion will come to the Pais de Calis!!! you can’t have the panzers in Normandy
Cause he knows that Chris Wallace will go to the Obama campaign and ask them what they think of McCain going or not going after Obama.
Attack across the board...connections, experience, making statements like our troops air raid civilians...(Michelle never proud of her country, though they’re millionaires)...rev. wright whom people ARE more familiar with...
and in closing, Biden and Hillary and others consistently stated in their debates that bambi wasn’t ready to be CIC just a few short weeks ago...this was a common theme across the board during the hypocrat debates!!!
So why should the American people believe he’s ready if his own party, including his very own VP doesn’t think he’s ready?
When North Korea, Syria, Iran, Venezuela, etc. all pull for bambi this should tell the American people all they need to know.
Hittin’ the hard stuff a bit early, eh?
McCain tonight must not concede debate points by not responding to Obama criticism/points. If Brokaw does not allow him to repspond (as Ifill did several times to Palin), he must use the first part of his next alloted time to rebut any outstanding Obama lies/distortions.
This is particularly true on the economy. If McCain goes first on an economy question and talks about Fannie/Freddie and then Obama talks about Wall Street greed, de-regulation, and Bush policies, before McCain answers the next question, he MUST call Obama out and say that what Obama said is not true. He should ask Obama to please explain what de-regulation and/or Bush policies Obama is talking about and how specifically did they lead to the losses that McCain explained by talking about Fannie/Freddie.
If he lets Obama off the hook, I think he will lose the election. People now believe this garbage about Bush policies/de-regulation. It cannot be allowed to stand.
ROTFLMFAO!!
Thanks big time!! :-)
Thanks for the ping. We’ll be watching. Sharp objects removed from TeeVee viewing area. Popcorn to be microwaved for exactly 2 minutes 36 seconds. Phasers set to stun. ;o) Yep, we’re ready!
