While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I have to agree with everything you say. However I am a cheap drunk and had I put away one more shot of vodka I am not sure how much I could do tomorrow.
Just a dreadful debate, I could have done better on my college debate team.
It's winning voters that counts, not winning the debate. :-(
McCain has made a strategic decision that the base is so terrified of BO, and the economic fundamentals so awful for the GOP, that he is going after independents and Clinton Democrats. I hope to Hell they know what they are doing, or we will have a down ballot disaster.
Hope we do. McCain debated tonight like he's counting on one....he sure wasn't relying on the debate to swing any votes.
He could have sent a DVD of his stump speeches.
Now that BOA has bought out so much bad paper they are in trouble, too.... I don’t see how they can let BOA fail.. but we’ll see.
Geez, the Hillary crowd over there is about 100% anti-Obama and about 80% pro-McCain. Wow. Unless it is dominated by conservatives who have found a new home, that is HUGE. If they turn out and vote, The One is TOAST!
I never thought that I’d see someone on Fox News that I’d want to slap more than Bob Beckel, but this Gibbs clown definitely is more annoying (I know that annoying is an understatement, but I’m trying to keep my language ladylike).
McCain has successfully deflected 0bama’s attempts to paint him as another Bush administration. This is yet another area where McCain ‘wins’.
and a democratic congress and senate in 2006 and look how well that has worked out /s
worked in 1994. Big time.
“When is McCain up for re-election in Arizona? Could this be the end?”
ARE you TOTALLY out of touch——McCain is UP 19% in my home state of Arizona-—that’s because out WEST we make sure we don’t breed any FOOLS like YOU!!!
Apparently. you don’t care to be in touch with REALITY!!!
There is that...
Ya know, I've gotten to where I can identify with these poor folks. They HATE the media, believe it's biased. They feel their party has abandoned them. They HATE zero, and on and on and on...
I guess the Luntz group voted oSama the winner...from what I gather from the hiltery site.
Sounds better, but haven't seen a provision for it.
So... the money for McCain’s plan is already provided for as part of the $700 billion?
Golly, wouldn’t it be funny if McCain came out tomorrow and basically said “I was just throwing that out there to see if Senator Obama has been paying attention.”
“After a week of early voting in Ohio only 5000 people voted.”
And many of those are probably double votes.
Triple votes.
It must suck that your buddy Obama lost tonight. I understand.
Sorry.
The holocaust, as in the “final solution” didn’t get the go ahead until early 1942 (Wannsee Conference) tho’ many had indeed already been murdered by that time.
Bio, if he’s embarrassed nationally in an electoral blowout, I’m not sure his stock in Arizona rises. I’m talking about him defending his senate seat in the future, not the presidential numbers at the moment.
