While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I sure hope you’re right. I think so...I’m even seeing McCain Palin signs inside the perimeter of 285 in Atlanta.
I hope enough disgruntled Hillary voters go to Palin.
“But as Alan Colmes stated last night. No big deal, no one was killed....” [re Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Weather Underground]
Uh, sorry to inform you, Alan, but I’m older than you are and here’s what the Weather Underground ACCOMPLISHED:
Declared “State of War” against US Government
(Ayers’ wife Dohrn)
1 policeman killed & several policemen injured
2 Brinks armored car guards killed
3 Weatherpeople (2 men, 1 woman) killed
1 policeman with a broken neck
5-member family fire-bombed (w/3 fire bombs while sleeping)
US Capitol fire bombed
US Pentageon fire bombed
US State Dept. fire bombed
Philadelphia Police Dept fire bombed
New York Police Dept. fire Bombed
New York Corrections Dept. fire Bombed
US Post Office fire bombed
Chicago policeman’s statue fire bombed
Chicago businesses windows of shops broken out in the
“Days of Rage” when approx. 270 Weathermen descended on the city of Chicago over 3 nights led by Ayers & wife, Dohrn
Last act was to prepare a bomb full of nails for maximum injury targeted to NCO club dance, but bomb exploded prematurely and killed 3 weathermen instead

Yes, Rudy would have eaten bambi alive. That’s why the left worked so hard to stop Rudy. They were scared to death of him. So they worked on conservatives to turn them against Rudy and and and...the left wanted us to have McCain as our nominee...so they made sure that happened. They never believed conservatives would support McCain. If McCain had NOT selected Sarah Palin...he’d for sure have lost the election. He will win the election now. But I totally agree...as far as Rudy is concerned.
Let’s organize the Nursing homes! Give them a lift. They will love to get out!
“If you were listening to Easton Fox shes confused about the bailout. It already covers the bad homeowner loans.”
that’s what i was wondering. is there backup on this?
I have never screamed at the TV in a debate before but I was screaming for him to shut the heck up and give McCain some time to speak.... It was more like he was at a rally than a Townhall and he was just ignoring McCain even being there. He did this last week in the senate when he spoke the day they voted on the bailout bill.... he spoke on the bailout and then asked for more time and launched into his stump speech... he is a shameless egotist. I dislked Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.. I detest BO... as much as he makes Chris Matthews tingle he make sme want to run screaming from the room.
Don’t worry dear one. I’ve been posting from there for a while now. They’re more encouraging than FR most times.
I can’t believe what I read over there!!!!!!!
Talk about wonderful! I’m surprised but thankful!!!!!
< i > without the spaces. Then when you’re done with italics, < /i >, again, w/o the spaces.
Clear as mud?
I don't get that either... even Brit was surprised that Charles thought McCain won the beginning of the debate on the economy and lost on foreign policy. I liked most of McCain's comments re: foreign policy, particularly his closing statement.
I fear the polls won't change either... I guess McCain/Palin keep pounding Obama with Ayers, etc. or hope some big Obama scandal breaks... ? I dunno...
Karl Rove and Dick Morris on Hannity & Colmes now...
Karl Rove just clarified it for me - and sorry if I’m the only one who missed it - her argument with the insurance company was whether her cancer was a preexisting condition. I assume it is possible she may have acquired her cancer while in Indonesia.
CNN SNAP POLL-
The Only thing that people who didn’t see this will hear is that Obama won, McCain lost, just like the Biden/Palin debate.
Who expressed his views more clearly in the debate?
Obama 60
McCain 30
Who spent more time attacking his opponent?
Obama 17
McCain 63
Who seemed to be the stronger leader?
Obama 54
McCain 43
Who was most likeable?
Obama 65
McCain 28
Warlord, I wouldn’t count out our friend here too quickly, despite what he says about McCain losing his vote. There’s no way a true American patriot & conservative could touch the screen for Obama on Election Day, no matter how disappointed they are with our candidate.
In many countries around the world, people are in fear of being executed for securing their right to vote. We should treat our trip to the polls the same way — as sacred and holy as anything we ever do. My children will be carrying their little flag, following me right into the room to wait for Mommy to vote, the way they’ve done the last two times.
Ping to post 5,587. McCain and the RINOs have sold us down the river. |

Actually in the case of Bin Laden, not anymore.
You have been attempting to be a downer this whole thread. Even if you don’t believe that MCCain won this debate, NO ONE in their right mind thinks he lost it to the rambling, fuzzy, smirking Barry. And yes, we’ve noticed your tag line, you’ve mentioned it more than once. The idea turns you on, does it? Get back to your DUmp.
He looked like he had big bald spots in his hair tonight???
Is that what American’s have come to to elect a president? Smooth? Clinton came off as smooth, look how well that turned out.
Madelyn Dunham took care of her daughter in Hawaii in the months before Ann died of cancer in 1995 at age 53.
Her (Obama's grandmother) last interview was in 2004, on the occasion of her grandson's keynote address to the 2004 Democratic National Convention.[
Bill Clinton is more conservative than either of these two bozos could ever be.
