While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
LMAO!
Just keep saying that! I actually believe it, too. But it’s
going to be pretty nasty!
Sarah did the best of them all. Wish she could go up against
Hussein!
Brokaw succeeded in turning this "Town Hall" debate into "I'm the moderator and I'LL ask the questions"
Absolutely neutered McCain's advantage in this type of setting.
Basically Mc Cain and Nobama had a pillow fight and told us all pretty much what they have been telling us all along. After the debate Frank Luntz asked the brain dead plants what they thought and as usual, some girl said Obama touched her, and some guy said he liked Obama's health plan. BARF BARF BARF
Yes, and it has to be said, but I doubt the black people in the Luntz focus group are really undecided...you know the lean Obama....if not completely support him totally.
Also agree all he has to do is play defense in IN, NC, and VA. But I don't see Obama winning either OH or FL, and that leaves only NV and CO. I can't envision Obama winning those two western states. And that's the election.
IMO, it’s a depressing election. McCain is better than Obama, but McCain is McCain. Add to that the whole financial meltdown and it’s going to be a bleak 4 years.
If McCain gets in, we’ll be driven crazy by his bipartisanship, if Obama gets in, it’s worse than bad, but he won’t have any money to do all the socialist junk he’s proposing (wonder how mad the Obamabots are going to be when they realize he can’t give away free stuff because there’s no money.) It’s not going to be a fun 4 years. Glad my hope is not in this world or it’s systems.
“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in men.”
I think luntz have been pushing the group to the left since a Freeper was able to get in the group and said Hillary is a socialist. He could not grasp that.
Horrible boring debate, repetition of the earlier debate talking points, bad questions, format, moderator. Doesn’t help McCain, but I doubt it hurts him either.
I am speculating! But, I bet if you go to Obama’s pages on facebook and MySpace, at least one of the ‘oBama’ people on Luntz will be a supporter.
I am not excited about this debate. I listened but did not watch.
Link? If true, this is huge.
There was an older woman Hillary supporter in Brian Wilson’s coffee shop report this morning who was voting McCain...she said she gets really mad when they say Mac is too old. She said something like—that means I’m too old and I’m not!
i hope u r right cherry :)
I agree... wish McCain would make that comparison (hippies while he was in Hanoi Hilton etc) but I think it's now a little too late.
Sorry, I think the sheeple and undecideds will declare Obama the winner tonight. The electorate is getting SO dumbed down... they want free healthcare and a presidential candidate who declares "healthcare is a right", a nice smile, a hip young diverse guy who "speaks directly to them". McCain is none of that.
We are screwed... look at my tagline.
Sigh...
As real conservatives we arent going to like a lot of what McCain said
Screw this format.
I want to see a tag team cage fight with both P’s and VP’s.
Guns and clubs allowed.
Soledad O’Brien was more careful this time, she counted hands before declaring it was really close (after the first debate an equal number of hands went up and she said it was overwhelming for Obama).
