PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08
Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3
While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

The first question and both their responses set the tone for the whole evening.. Hardly riveting.. I stopped watching at 10pm to go walk the dog. What a week so far, eh? And it's only Tuesday..

Oh I’m speculating. Wouldn’t be surprising though since there were Dem plants all over the Luntz group in 2004.

I think it was close - Obama started stronger but McCain ended stronger. McCain missed some good opportunities. I wonder how the DUmmies or KOSsacks are reacting to the debate? Are they thinking it was pretty much a draw or are they discouraged or happy?

PMSNBC's "non-biased" focus group goes 60% to Osama and 40% to McCain.
In other words, McCain won in the general population.

I really thought McCain did well tonight. the questions and format sucked, but he did okay with what he had to wrok with. Obama was once again a BS windbag.
I was feeling fine until they interviewed the ‘undecided’ group and they all thought Obama ‘touched’ them more and answered the questions better. I almost burst into tears. Our country is seriously gone. Just gone.
