PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08
Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3
While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

If John McCain won the election and I dropped dead the same day, it would be with a smile on my face.
God forbid this arrogant punk should get elected.

You can tell which of the questioners were in the tank for Obama. They’re the ones who are now posing for photos with him.

Brett Hume made reference to the moderator who seemed mostly concerned with the time, format, and making sure he got in all his questions.
I take it he and Brokaw aren’t golf buddies.

Go sit in the corner and cry to yourself.
OR BETTER YET, wait for another poll thread to spread more doom and gloom.
You’ve been here how long, and are still not smart about debating.
How sad. This is not the format you go all ballistic and start getting angry.
Man up, or move out the way.

Obama We cannot allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon. You just contradicted Biden who has said recently that Isreal and the world will have to live with a nuclear power Iran. GOOD POINT. They'll blow it off of course.

The campaign theme to aim at undecided voters for the rest of the way should be clear now:
Even if you disagree with him on some issues, McCain is an honest man. Obama is not.

I love this. On ABC Steffi says that McCain started strong then Obama came on. On NBC Chuck Todd says that McCain got stronger as the debate went along.
To: Barnacle
Good job McCain!
“edge to Obama...”, David Brooks.
Come on what a douche.
