While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
Frankly if the first 30 minutes were as effective as the last, I would agree. I pray voters remained for the entire 90 minutes.
Yep. Last I looked MSNBC had 80% voting Obama more Presidential.
McCain did great with his answer. Obama was lame as usual.
That was a great answer.
Well then all the demoncrats have to do to get their agenda implemented is to keep nominating an ultralib. Then no one would ever dream of voting for someone other than the Republican front runner.
He hasn't got me. Palin might have but she's handcuffed.
It’s like Rush said. How in the he** can anyone who is paying attention to this election be undecided at this point?
That’s why he is dangerous.
He just doesn’t get it!
McCain just NAILED the Israel question, ‘no we wouldn’t wait on approval from the UN security council’. Good man! Right answer!!!
I associate myself with those comments.
We reduce energy consumption and it will solve the Russia problem.
A good Commander gives credit to his Chief!
Another foreign policy question regarding Israel....and McCain will clean his clock. Obama has no idea what to do without his advisors.
wow, what a great question. Obama must of been craping in his pants when he knew it was a Navy person asking this question.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Great observation. He knows what he wants to say, but knows it looks bad. So he makes a contrived statement. When McCain plays off it, the buzzer in Obama's head goes off, "Did I say what I wanted or what I should have?"
Oh he’s completely dominating right now.. Fauxbam just got schooled, and completely stumbled through a nonsensical answer.. It was as bad as the “breathalizer” moment, but damned close and certainly the worst I’ve ever seen in a Presidential debate.
One more question on MILITARY and NATIONAL SECURITY...
Including UN issues... Plays to the McCain and on same lines as other ones.
Basically would you go to the UN or Defend Israel if Iran attacked it.
McCain won this debate hands down... absolutely rolled Fauxbama.. rolled him, smoked him and bogarted him.
Me too.
As a retired navy chief ... nice shirt, was that mauve?
GOOD QUESTION:
would you wait for UN approval?
mccain not wait, china and russia oppose us on defending israel.
Good put the audience in Israel’s shoes.
