(JACKSONVILLE, FLA.) Continuing to hammer Barack Obama on his connection to 1960s radical William Ayers, Sarah Palin made clear her belief that voters will make their final decisions on Nov. 4 based on the candidates personal qualities.
Ladies and gentleman, this election is about the truthfulness and the judgment needed in our next president, Palin said at a rally here in front of an overflow crowd of thousands.
John McCain has it and Barack Obama doesn't.
Palin also went into more specifics on the economy than she usually does at her rallies, touting John McCains vow to initiate a spending freeze and promising that a McCain-Palin administration would balance the federal budget.
We have to do this because we have to get in there and review every federal agency, every part of federal government, and improve those parts that need improving and eliminate those parts that aren't working for the American people, Palin said.

You know, one way or another, whether it be this year or in the future, this woman will be President. She’s too good not to be.
I say again - I love this woman.
and eliminate those parts that aren’t working for the American people
which is most of the federal budget
Me, too!
HAMMER AWAY, Sarah!
Hopefully McPain in the arse will join in!
Forget the “tradtional roles.”
McPain needs to EARN this. He’s part of the problem.
I want McPain to reach across to the aile to me -
a conservative.
Listen to Mom
Has a single “news” media outlet referred to this guy as a bomber? There are plenty of radicals out there. If the media won’t do their job then Sarah and her team must do it for them and let the people know.
“this election is about the truthfulness and the judgment needed in our next president, Palin said.”
Credibility is ALWAYS an issue.
“Has a single news media outlet referred to this guy as a bomber? There are plenty of radicals out there. If the media wont do their job then Sarah and her team must do it for them and let the people know.”
McPain has to step up to it too!
He’s so busy being a Demoncrat that he forgot his base. McPain is NO conservative. He’s a compromiser. He needs to develop some backbone and start being a conservative and that includes TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT OBAMA.
Let others call this “character assination”. It isn’t. It’s TELLING THE TRUTH about what the Obomination is. It’s PATRIOTIC to TELL THE TRUTH before the OBomination destroys this country. McPain must GET IT!
FINALLY! Trust/Truth - the fundamental issue. I am not surprised that it is Gov. Palin who sees it, voices it, hears it. We so need her on the inside not only as our VOICE, but ALSO (a favorite word of hers) as our EYES and EARS.
I wish she’d throw in how he pledged to use public funding until he got all of that (potentially illegal) internet money; then he said “uhh ... never mind.”
“that’s not the public funding i knew for 20 years.”
Judgment? Experience? Character? Are these things still important?
Ask yourself, when the NEXT hit on a US target is struck, how would a President Obama respond? Will he know enough to stay out of the way while the professional diplomatic and intelligence community make the necessary arrangements with governmental bodies representing other nations around the world, or shall he choose to sit down and negotiate directly with the perpetrator with no pre-conditions, as he has indicated? And what would the follow-up action be, to strike back through various sanctions, or even take up arms to enforce the collective will of this nation? Could he even READ the collective will, or is he going to be an authority unto himself, and choose a path that would be wildly unpopular with the majority of ‘Mericans?
That would be the ultimate in micromanagement.
ROOORRRRRWWWRRR!!!
Get’em pitbull!!!
GO, SARAHCUDA, GO!!!!
I agree 100% and have the same concerns.
I know this is off topic a bit, but this is reminding me about The View clip I watched yesterday of the three ultra-liberal hosts of that show mocking and cutting off Elizabeth from interjecting, while they railed on McCain and Palin. It shocked me that Barbara treated her so badly also. They never let her get a word in at all, and Whoopie went to commercial right as Elizabeth was trying to talk about why Obama’s past matters to this election.
I don’t see it in the media but this clip needs to have a spotlight shown on it, for showing what ABC is all about (even though we all know anyway). This incident in my opinion went beyond how vicious they’ve been before — and one sided.
Listen closely to her choice of words. Hopefully, tonight McCain will address both Obama’s truthfulness and judgment.
The good news is that the local media give Republican candidates much more attention than the national media, so when McCain and Palin visit a locality, they actually get heard without spin. People have to go to the national media to hear what the Democrats say the candidates said.
CNN Report has something like "Many Americans were anti Vietnam war, but few were like Ayers and his friends," and they show the plan to bomb the capitol.
you know, Sarah sent a personal note to my husband and I today.....( well, probably a million others got it too...lol)
