ERB arrests suspected ISI financier
Multi-National Corps Iraq PAO
BALAD, Iraq Baghdad National Emergency Response Brigade arrested a known Islamic State of Iraq financier on a Ministry of Interior warrant Oct. 29.
The individual allegedly receives financing and weapons from unknown insurgents and uses the money and weapons to support ISI operations in the Baghdad area.
He is also said to be a Mufti who gives military orders to ISI subordinates in the Mansour and Baghdad area. The suspected criminal has been implicated in weapons trafficking and improvised explosive device attacks against Iraqi and Coalition forces as well as local citizens.
This operation shows the ability of ERB to capture terrorists who undermine the security of Iraq.

“Jihad group claims responsibility for India blasts that killed 76”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “GUWAHATI: A little-known Islamic group claimed responsibility in a text message to a news channel Friday for serial blasts in Indias Assam that claimed 76 lives on Thursday, police said. The group, identifying itself as the Islamic Security Force-Indian Mujahideen, warned such attacks would continue in the Assam state, police said.
The Islamic Security Force-Indian Mujahedeen takes the responsibility for yesterday’s blasts, said the text message sent to the Newslive television network in Assam. “We warn all of Assam and India for situations like this in the future and we thank all our holy members and partners,” added the message.”
