Moral Absolute ping!
The ad is FOR Prop 8, and mocks Newsom.
Yes it is. Did I suggest otherwise?
so it’s saying the young people will vote for the BAN for same sex marriage? dense tonight. just wondering if I read it right
I'm hoping that young people understand this and are responding accordingly.
Yep they have shifted!
“What it is saying is that young people are voting for the protection of marriage, the marriage between a man and a woman only.”
All those years of queer indoctrination have apparently failed. Good! Hopefully the same can be said for the Communist indoctrination!!!
There is hope for our young people yet.
Yes, this Yes on Prop 8 is a really great ad, especially with that jacka** Newsom screeching and carrying on.
Let’s get out and vote, CA, and hope this passes!
The article says:
A new CBS 5 poll finds that California’s Proposition 8 has picked up support in the wake of a television ad campaign that features footage of San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom proclaiming same-sex marriage is here to stay “whether you like it or not.”
If I didn’t know otherwise I could not tell if the add was for or against Prop 8.
Gavin looks like such a fruit in that ad it makes me want to vote for Prop. 8 twice.
“What it is saying is that young people are voting for the protection of marriage, the marriage between a man and a woman only. “
It appears that America is still very much alive !!!
What is ironic about that? First one side was ahead, then the other side was ahead. Maybe "irony" means, "Whoa, check it out. it's like, totally different now. It's all whatchamacallit. Opposite!"
If that is the case please disregard my question.
I thought that Newsom was taunting the opposition when he gave that speech. For him to get out there and proclaim that, whether we like it or not, that this wave will move east from California is not going to set well with people opposed to the gay agenda. It can only harden opposition among more moderate people who might have gone along with the idea of domestic partners/civil union status.
Prop 8 was behind only weeks ago and now it’s ahead by about 5 points. Things may be turning around, even here in the Socialst Republic of Kalifornia..
whether you like it or not.
Fighting words....
That's my thought. There's a difference between being in a voting booth and trying to read something for understanding when yes means no and no means yes, and listening to someone on a telephone where you might not have fully understood the question.
I'd be really surprised if this passed, and I think we can depend on the forces aligned against it to make sure people who are on their side know what no means by Election Day.
