This examination of his record revealed a pilot who early in his career was cocky, occasionally cavalier and prone to testing limits. I thought that was the definition of a Naval Aviator?

AFreeBird, Spot on I spent most of an 8 year enlistment in the Air Wing side of the USMC, never ran across a Naval Aviator that wasn't Cocky, including my brother an F4 jock with over 400 combat mission in Vietnam.
